I might be wrong but I feel like Crota's End HM has higher Heavy ammo drops. I agree though. Its getting though keeping Synths, especially if you keep wiping.

I only seemed to notice higher heavy ammo drop rates AFTER I use a heavy synth. FML

It has higher drop rates for me.... only if I use a synth in the first place
