Watch bungie "patch" this because players out-smarted the game mechanics. Don't become dependent on it because there's no way bungie is going to leave that alone.

I doubt they patch it. Even if they didn't know it worked, tbh it doesn't look very useful for most situations. Just a neat trick.
-
Who says it wasn't an intended mechanic?
-
I can almost guarantee it's not. Players figured out how to make two teams of three against atheon (which seemed like a great mechanic) until they said it was a "bug" and patched it. This has to be an oversight. I'll give them a month for them to make some lame excuse to "fix" it.

Basically, from the footage, the Oversoul is a thing which explodes and players die from the explosion. If you can somehow survive it, you have until another player dies. They would know that Blessing and Armor of Light stacked, so why else would they give the Oversoul only enough power to bring players within down to red instead of death?
-
That's interesting. Although the oversoul obviously explodes, I never thought that the physical blast is what kills us. That's a good point.
-
I just thought, also, that they may have just overlooked the stacking of Armor and Blessing... Either way, we don't know for sure until they say something about it and/or (sneak)patch it.

Well hopefully they don't. It makes the defender titan (which is my second favorite subclass despite not having a titan) even more useful.
