This is NOT a hate post towards the "master race" lol (jk) but I noticed while I was doing Crota on Hard (pause) that the most valuable players were Hunters & Titans.
My Fireteam was lucky enough to have 2 of each class & I noticed Titan's Blessing of Light & Hunter's Invisibility perk were SUPER USEFUL!! I shutter to think what it would've been like if we had 2 MORE Hunter & Titans in place of the 2 Warlocks :/
Again ... NO offense to warlocks cause y'all radiance super does come in handy on other occasions... But in Hard mode lol..
We had a great set up going.. Titans, We knew when to throw our bubbles up at appropriate times (a lot of times saving lives) & the 2 Hunters had sword experience so in case one died the other was our backup.
So in MY opinion the IDEAL Fireteam for Crota's End Hardmode is...
•3 Titans.
•3 Hunters.
I'd love to hear some thoughts on this. :)
P.s. Trolls you will be ignored by me lol.. I troll at times to & I KNOW you live off the attention & it KILLS you when you do not receive it.
EDIT: Agh... I stand corrected. I see Warlocks usefulness is reproducing more orbs for us Titans. My apologies. Thank you fellow Guardians. And my most sincerest apologies to those of you who I offended...
Although you should probably reevaluate something's if you take offense to my opinion on your character in a video game.. That is all lol.

Four words. Nova Bomb Left Side.

Warlock have the hardest time conforming to their role in ce. Sun singers are the ultimate orb generating class and they need to use this to be as beneficial as possible. My raid dream team is: 1 hunter (sword runner) 3 titans (perfect bubble rotation) 2 locks (1 using firebolt grenade the other fusion grenade) The goal is for the one with fire bolt to immediately pop his super with radiant skin and destroy most of the acolytes on both sides damaging the hallowed knights in the process. Once fire bolt finishes one side fusion starts on that side killing the hallowed knights and then finishes off the ones on the other side. This should leave the crystal room flooded with orbs especially if the are using light beyond nemesis. After this they should both run fire bolt to clean out thrall on the ground then switch to solar in time for the ogres.
-
Ya cuz you know, activating radiance to down the adds in the crystal room at the beginning creating 9 orbs is not usefull. I personally use the perk that allows me to stay in mid air while downing the swordbearer. Comes in handy when hes bouncing around and you need to lock on a rocket.
-
I would say that the sheer amount of orbs a warlock can drop makes them right there in importance. It makes recycling other classes supers a breeze. Basically someone always has a super when a warlock is around.
-
Warlocks have the ability to create the most orbs
-
Every class has great values to bring to the raid. I'd have to say that while Warlock may not have invisibility or a dome shield, it's still a great class to choose. I just can't pass up the Song of Flame, and being able to just wreck that swordbearer with fusion grenades. Not to mention with Star Fire Protocol, you can stay in the air and snipe the Hive Knights quite easily. Not the best, but it's still great And yes, I do have all 3 classes, and I do play them often.
-
Warlock = Orb Hard Mode = your ass need orb BUT : I mostly agree with you
-
Warlocks provide us with plenty of Orbs right at the beginning. Without them , no Titan bubbles.
-
Warlocks = orbs
-
Hunters and titans are the most useful in crota HM. But a couple properly geared warlocks will always be useful. Apotheosis Veil+Radiance and you will never even be low on health, let your warlocks kill knights/swordbearers/ogres and you will have orbs anytime and anywhere you may need them.
-
People said the same about hunters in vog. I would not be surprised if titans are not that useful in the next dlc
-
That song of flame suuuure helps you all replenish those supers faster. :P also a warlock can run the sword just fine.
-
Warlock and use the sword every time
-
From being a member on here for a few months and constantly checking the forums, it seems the warlock class takes the least skill to use. I'm a perfect candidate for a warlock lol. I gotta start a 3rd character, been saving warlock gear in the vault.... Any truth to this? From people who have all 3 classes, not just people who run warlocks exclusively.
-
3. titans? lol
-
Id like you to know at the final part of the bridge, a warlock spamming solar grenades with radiance is the best thing against the hoards of thrall(unless a Titan has helm with blindness which I haven't seen many with)
-
Song of Flame reduces the cooldown on Titan Bubble if you can't get to orbs. If you only have one Titan and one Hunter (like I often do because I seem to play with Triple Warlocks) then that Titan should have a bubble available every time the team needs one.
-
Warlock runs our sword, baller!!!!!
-
My song of flame means I can produce orbs for all your supers! Perfect set up is: 3 defender Titans 2 hunters 1 warlock We did it in 3 swords, could've in 2 but the sword disappeared (SO YOU DONT HAVE TO WIPE IF IT DOES!!!)
-
Dream team 5 Titans 1 Hunter
-
Hate to inform ya but my sword runner is a warlock and can down him in 2 swords if the locks and titans are spamin orbs
-
Warlocks help with the bridge cheese for those who do that.
-
you need 1 hunter. How many people you looking to carry the sword? You don't need 2 titans but they always help if you someone dies. Warlocks well what can we say we don't die lol.
-
I disagree as a sun singer I generate a good bit of orbs and can hold back enemies with solar grenades as well as revive while using the sword just incase. As Voidwalker I rain orbs! Also can regenerate health easily as well!

Edited by archangel559: 1/29/2015 9:51:44 PMWarlocks can be extremely useful they can help generate orbs with void class and i even use the sword as a warlock

Oh nice, another I don't want to offend you, but let me make every effort to do so Thread
