NO Offense to Warlocks but...
This is NOT a hate post towards the "master race" lol (jk) but I noticed while I was doing Crota on Hard (pause) that the most valuable players were Hunters & Titans.
My Fireteam was lucky enough to have 2 of each class & I noticed Titan's Blessing of Light & Hunter's Invisibility perk were SUPER USEFUL!! I shutter to think what it would've been like if we had 2 MORE Hunter & Titans in place of the 2 Warlocks :/
Again ... NO offense to warlocks cause y'all radiance super does come in handy on other occasions... But in Hard mode lol..
We had a great set up going.. Titans, We knew when to throw our bubbles up at appropriate times (a lot of times saving lives) & the 2 Hunters had sword experience so in case one died the other was our backup.
So in MY opinion the IDEAL Fireteam for Crota's End Hardmode is...
•3 Titans.
•3 Hunters.
I'd love to hear some thoughts on this. :)

EDIT: Agh... I stand corrected. I see Warlocks usefulness is reproducing more orbs for us Titans. My apologies. Thank you fellow Guardians. And my most sincerest apologies to those of you who I offended...
Although you should probably reevaluate something's if you take offense to my opinion on your character in a video game.. That is all lol.

Sunsinger can make shit load of orbs for teammates and locks can do sword too no problem

You are right. In Crota Hardmode, we are the most useless class. Hopefully it will change in HoW Raid.

Why would you need more than one hunter? Titans are good with their bubbles, so that's understandable to have more than one. Warlocks are orb factories, health regen, swordbearer supers, and titan bubbles.

To me it doesn't really matter. It can be beaten with an assortment of characters in close to the same amount of time. I have a hunter and warlock and they both are enjoyable to run through the raid. Titan will shortly be in my arsenal I have the gear to get to 31 just need to make one

6 RepliesYep warlocks keep those orbs flowing. I actually feel the most useless playing my hunter. I don't use invis for whacking Crota so i try to use GG for orbs but it's not nearly as effective at orb creation. Making my first warlock now but my god that jump is terrible :(

I agree with you because most warlocks I come across only use sunsinger. I have one of each and in my opinion sunsinger is a selfish class where void walker is much more useful for a semi skilled player. Especially clearing out the right and left side of the crystal when starting the crota encounter or super the thralls at the bottom of the stairs

Past that I don't care what the mixture of warlocks to Titans is Hunters are really only useful for sword and possibly lamps but even then lamps isn't hard. Warlocks are helpful for the bridge since you get one over then everybody wipes and they use radiance to kill everything.

2 Repliesonly need 1 hunter really. 5 titans would have unlimited weapons of light for the supreme hunter overlord to handle business asap. just wait until those wiley warlocks figure out a way to grenade spam crota off a ledge though, coz we'll be the ones with egg on our faces then!!

Uhhh must be who you're playing with, I have all three classes 32 and the only one that feels different in the raid is titan at the beginning for their bubble, other wise nova bomb can clear the entire left or right side on the first part and my rockets hit just as hard as my other classes lol...

Agh....yes please, we Warlocks are so terrible, but when you need a crutch in the nightfall or the Hard Raid, call us up

Ideal set-up would be 5 titans and 1 hunter lol With that being said, Warlock is tied for my favorite with Titan

We use a warlock as our sword guy, radiance is always a option if crota glitches up

I have all 3 chars each is unique but like someone said I can get back up and continue to fight where others are just dead... I have np getting into crota on any char... each has there ups and downs... but I always find a way

8 RepliesSelf res beats anything any other class can do period. When a Titan or a hunter dies cab they help kill the oversoul and finish the fight? No they are just dead and useless at least a warlock can res them self help kill the oversoul and continue the fight without being down a player...

We had our time at atheon. Its only fair other classes have a turn to be most useful.

Warlocks can create more obs... Pretty usefull but titans are needed the most in crota end

Actually you can use the radiance cool down so that you can get your grenades faster and melee but I have no experience with the raid so I can't speak for myself

I make most orbs killing the yellow knight inside making everyone orb happy and up to health so i would say Ur thoughts are invalid

I may be bias but WL is better than hunter in VoG.. And when we run raid only 1 person is a hunter, and he is sword bearer.. Imo botg raids have their "best class" .. VoG was the warlock and Crota is a hunter... Who knows maybe The Arena will favor in the titan area
