This Happened While Playing VoG. SMH

So, one of my friends gets online and asks me what we should do in Destiny. I tell him whatever works for you and he suggests the VoG. We find a group of people in the Tower and we load up VoG. Now, I'm in a very precarious situation because I'm unable to speak to everybody except my friend who I was Skyping with at the time. Why could I not speak to the other people, you might ask? My mic is working just fine, but for those of you who don't know, the XB1's wired controllers (Namely the Spektra Illuminated and Mini Series controllers) do not have mic ports for some odd reason. My wireless one (Which does have a mic port like every controller that came with the console) is busted so I have no way to communicate through Xbox. So naturally, like any CoD Zombies player (If you've played Zombies online you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about) they gave me a lot of crap for not having a mic in. The typical "This guy can afford a $1200 computer and not a $15 mic?" like I'm made of money and can spare any dime when I please. They even went as far as calling me a scrub or a f.a.g while my friend sat idly by and listened to this verbal assault take place. We got through the front door with minor issues and proceeded to the Templar's room. Throughout the entirety of the of the conflux defense part, they died multiple, and when I say "multiple" I mean "many," times and yours truly decided to play medic as a Sunsinger Warlock hoping to prove that I'm anything but unskilled when it comes to raiding. Now all of the sudden, I'm the target of sarcastic "pats on the head" as though I'm a child who just learned to do something right for once. This proceeded even up to the Oracles, and through it's entirety, not only were they the only ones dying, but we had to keep redoing the FIRST WAVE of freakin oracles because they didn't know what it meant to get "Marked by an Oracle" and we eventually lost the cleansing pool. This happened about three times or so and they were still convinced that I was garbage. I already hated the Destiny community with a passion. The amount of hypocrisy is way too high and the elitism is almost PC Elitist standard. Now on top of that, CoD's "refusal to admit your own narcissism" attitude is all too prominent in a game nothing like it. If the game's lackluster content wasn't enough to kill the game, this community killed it before it's even a year old.
