Best Load out for Crota's Hard raid
With Hard Crota coming out this week what will everyone's desired load out be? I was looking at a possible load out of :
Vex Mytho
Black Hammer
Hunger of Crota
EDIT: It seems like switching to a gjally for Deathsinger and Crota will be a good idea.
EDITE: A primary with Firefly seems to be a go to so far!

1 ReplyVex mythoclast does poor damage at long range. A recommended loadout would be Badger CCL(Explosive rounds+Firefly) yes there is a variant of that Black hammer (Infinite ammo in the hands of sharpshooter) Ghjallahorn (All purpose Boss Hammer)

Light in the Abyss and Ice Breaker as Special Song of Ir Yut, Ghorn, and HoC for heavy's I think Song will be mandatory as the special on it (shoot through hive knight shields) must be there for a reason! all 331 of course.

First part fatebringer and black hammer. The rest of the raid is black hammer and ghorn. You dont really need a primary to one shot boomers and ghorn scrotas shield. I geuss id use fatebringer or voc if the group is having trouble with thrall.

Lamps: Fatebringer, light of the abyss and either ghorn or harms way (with field scout 100 rounds of carnage). After everyone successfully clears hm a few times i'll probably switch to bad juju here for obsidian mind novas on my lock. Bridge: Thorn or hawkmoon, black hammer and harms way then switching to tdyd with field scout and ghorn to finish out the raid. I may adjust depending on mechanics and how it plays out but thats usually my go to.

I'm an Obsidian Mind Voidwalker for 1st part, so I go Bad Juju, Light of the Abyss, and Song of Ir Yut; I switch to explosive Badger CCL and/or fatebringer with Black Hammer and Gjallarhorn for the remainder. hard mode may stipulate a switch in both my subclass and weapon selection.

Through the abyss and the bridge I'll use bad juju (combined with obsidian mind), murmur/light of the abyss, and against all odds/song of ir yut. For death singer and crota, I'll switch to for the people (don't have too many legendary primaries that are 331) ice breaker, and the cure (could use a better rocket launcher, but I can still hit crota 9/10 times without a tracking launcher)

Mine preffered combination is Fatebringer, Black Hammer, Gjallarhorn everywhere. 3 guys with Fatebringers in abbys can make a real mess down there. I think few shots with explosive rounds on FB makes knights stunned for a while(Don't know if it is because of the perk i need to test it) it saved my ass from a raging ultra few times.

I have a few different loadouts for each part. Abyss: Fatebringer, Pocket Infinity, Hunger of Crota Bridge: VoC, Icebreaker, Hunger of Crota Deathsinger: VoC, Icebreaker, Hunger of Crota Crota: VoC, Black Hammer, Gjallahorn.

I don't understand why people want to use Fatebringer or VOC in HM. Both are great guns in normal, but just like VOG HM, you want maxed out weapons... Meaning 331 atk. Would anyone let someone run VOG HM at level 29 with a 270 atk weapon? Pretty crazy if you ask me. That being said, my load out will be: Another NITC w/ firefly and explosive rounds(MIDA as Swordbearer) Light of the Abyss/Black Hammer (Murmur for lightweight during thralls) Hunger of Crota
