Edited by J96NY: 1/15/2015 2:50:21 PMThat's Bungie's way of doing things - create mystery and hype - good marketing strategy y'know As for loot? I'm rather looking forward to reppin dat bootyfull yellow swag head to toe from when I beat y'all for my 60th game in a row.. *tssssss

You do realise that is a double edged sword (create a bad reputation, and disaafection if the leak proves to be more substantial), so true marketeers use this sparingly.....I assume you work in marketing strategy....? As I have....

Seems to have worked out for them pretty well so far.. dem sales tho

Lol...you have no clue.... Great upfront marketing resulted in huge initial sales (DeeJ was pumped and did an effective job), the challenge comes from keeping those who bought into the Destiny vision...because of disaffection for under delivery A telling factor is they announced about 3.2m players play 3 hours every day, on the subsequent similar update, they avoided this all together....speculation would suggest the number has gone way south of this... If the content continues to appear to lack you will see a significantly lower pre-order on Destiny 2, and for a long term plan a short term glut is not always best....especially if you damage your brand in the process... Strong brands are built on consistency and doing what they say....also I would bet that one of the legacies for Bungie will be they will be known as the cheeser game....among many other things...

Time will tell

Indeed.... It is likely that some game we know very little or nothing about will displace Destiny as the big across platform game....maybe 2016 if not 2015 Bungie need to up their game in regards to content, as the PvP crowd will start to move on (the game is massively lacking in this area in regards to quality - the hardcore players remain for quality, casuals will move on / no loyality), and the PvE content is disturbingly lacking....
