phalanx shield insta-kill
So I know this "glitch" has been around since day one as I remember my wee little 18 hunter seeing one for the first time and dying instantly by one melee, but I was wondering if bungie had ever addressed this. I mean I would very much hope that by the time of the cabal raid they at least say that phalanxes are supposed to be able to do this as it would make the hard raid frustrating as hell.
=>basically has bungie ever addressed the phalanx shield insta-kill melee or is it just a function meant to be in the game from day one?

To the best of my knowledge it still has a chance of instantly killing you. Last week I was taking my Lv.28 Titan through the 2nd Mars story level ( because it was the first time I'd done it with her, she hasn't completed all the story levels yet ), the one where you have to charge the Gate Lords eye, and I was being a bit careless and reckless since my Titan was so over levelled, anyhow I decided to get into punching match with a small group of Cabal, things were going okay at first but I failed to acknowledge the Phalanx Cabal of jumped up behind me as a proper threat and I payed heavily for my arrogance.
