Just noticed that she doesn't say the traveler "created" the ghosts, she says it "released" them. This got me thinking: Could the traveler be not so much of a single, unified being but more of a spaceship full of Ghosts that run it and keep it repaired? And when it was damaged, a portion of the ghosts evacuated while some stayed to slowly repair the damage? Discuss.
