Or how about this: there is an area of the map where you can pick up a special weapon synthesis, the weapon when picked up will automatically be whatever special you have equipped. This will make it a race to get the weapon. And multiple will spawn on corners of the map.

I like it. Anything to put the shotguns and fusions away for a few minutes (to create some diversity) would make PVP better.

Basically crucible is ruined to the point it should be renamed: shotgun warfare.

Yeah. Truth be told, I am basically done with the game. Put a lot of time in, got my money's worth on a couple of accounts, and will come back for the House of Wolves (since I paid for it already). Aside from that, I just cannot justify grinding for materials once per week, glimmer, and hoping to get lucky with a new piece of loot.

My pride and joy. With the Chain of Woe and Gunslinger's Trance, it is lethal. It makes leveling up 5 separate sets of Hunter gear much easier and more enjoyable when you are putting out special weapon damage, with a primary.

I do the weekly and nightfall on the day of the reset and do both raids over the next 2-3 days then wait for the reset. But I always do the new bounties.
