The potential BIG ONE
So I am kinda sure most of the Destiny community has learned of the future dlc that could be made later on in the year. Talking about Comet: Plague of Darkness. How many of you, the ones who enjoy playing Destiny, plan on getting this big expansion that'll breath new life into our guardians journey? And for the... butt munchers who rag on Destiny forums for kicks, you can just stop wasting your time here.

I'll buy whatever destiny puts out honestly. I was a COD enthusiast for the last 10 years and Destiny is going to be way cheaper by comparison for the next 10. It also has more content, things to do, and (mostly) rewards good players. The only thing to do in COD was work on your k/d, occasional clan wars (that got old), and zombies -lots of zombies.

If it actually includes 12 story missions, the new areas and subclasses, another (preferably more than one) strike, another raid, pvp maps all for the price of [hopefully] a season pass ($35-40) then yes i will. Why? Because i have a job and have put more hours into Destiny than i have into my own sleep cycle. It's sad, and possibly unhealthy, but for the most part, i enjoy the game. Yes i think the current TDB expansion should've included more story missions, but other than that, i am definitely not dissatisfied with the purchase. As long as Comet stays within a reasonable price range, i doubt that many Destiny fans would avoid buying it. Who wouldn't want a 3rd subclass and a new area to explore? Plus, 12 story missions is 4x the amount we got with TDB, and i doubt Comet will be 4x the price.

I'll buy it. But if it adds little to no story I'll be out maybe. It's addictive. So I can't say for sure.

Unfortunately with all the people that hate this game bungie could sell dog poo and as long as the said poo had a destiny logo on it cool graphics and future dog poo down loadable content I would still buy it:) and play with it!

Let's face it the game isn't perfect in any way, the low aggregate score across all platforms shows this BUT it is fiendishly addictive. Will I buy the new DLC super pack thing which is basically the yearly game? Don't know. I'm sure it will still be enjoyable but completely annoying and I may just wait a week or two to decide.

I'll buy it for xb1 if it's actually a true big expansion and not just a collection of Destiny, TDB, and HoW with the PS exclusives thrown in due to the exclusivity agreement on them being up. I really hope for a true expansion, this game will be great then with all new content to run each day of the week basically. If you think about it, for all the bitching this game gets, it's done it's job of booking ppl even with the little content it has now. I took my time the first month not racing to max level, he'll I didn't even finish the storyline until I was levedl way over 20. I used to do story missions over on Earth to complete the Fallen Majors bounty lol cause I didn't know where to farm them efficiently. I was only playing like 8 hrs a week for the first month. I was level 18 before 2nd moon mission, and once I could run strikes that's what I did until I had all armor from drops and marks. Then I ran through the rest of the story in about 3 hrs or so. I enjoyed every minute of it and I still do

2 RepliesI'm not going to say I'm going to jump right in with the whole 10 yr plan of the game. I do enjoy Destiny I play it for hours on end crucible, raid, or strikes. I will purchase the upcoming update Comet though. As a person that has been on Bungie's side from the beginning I'm still worried about the step that they will take in the future due to the partner at hand (Activision). I'm worried that they'll treat us like they have every other game they have taken over. ie. Infinity ward, and Treyarch. I just hope the best for the Destiny advocates out there and our future gaurdians. Tl;dr : Yeah, I'm just worried about our future.
