Exotic for exotic, legendary for legendary, ascendant for ascendant, etc.
okay bungie?
You want us to grind.
FINE!
Go add a broker/vendor in tower that charges a glimmer commission fee depending on the quality of the item.
All traded weapons or armor progress will reset.
And trade vouchers will only drop rarely and randomly. (Praise RNG-sus!)
Only one item can be traded per voucher from both parties.
For those of you who don't know what a voucher is, it is a pass that allows you to redeem a transaction
Let me emphasize "rare" because a lot of people still don't understand this concept and insist that people will exploit this system.
It would be a waste of your time to invest in playing destiny for an opportunity to get a trading voucher let alone a gallarhorn if you ever get one, just to sell it.

Would it be fair if I have two gallahorns and want to give my friend one? I feel it is, Especially when the trade vouchers would drop as exclusively as an exotic bounty. To limit exploitation, add in a bunch of factors that would make trading a pain in the ass; that the only way you could do it is for BOTH parties to have a voucher, Have a ton of glimmer. Basically you could only trade once in a blue moon and the opportunity would only present itself to the most dedicated players.
As for the real world currency for a gallahorn. Any one who seriously plays the game long enough for a gallahorn to drop is not likely to want to get rid of it for actual money. Especially when trading vouchers themselves are as scarce as an exotic. Maybe more scarce.
Also, I have two gallarhorns and it is ridiculous that some people who play longer than i and still dont; And I can't just give it away to one of my friends for say his... hard light? With the amount of time I've invested into the game I would not throw away an opportunity ( to trade my Gjallarhorn for say another exotic I really want) for real world currency. Not a likely senario, I'm sure it could happen though. For an large amount of money.
But people aren't likely to pay a high value for a gallahorn with the chance that xur will have it the next week. Also there are millions of people playing this game that have gallarhorn. How high could the price even get?
Idk... let's hear some creative regulating to prevent real world trading.

NO TRADING
-
No trading. Just fix the damn loot system.
-
No -blam!-ing way. It would break the game.
-
Nope.
-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
just play the game, there is no need for trading between players
-
Go play Minecraft.
-
If you want a trading system you're a scrub. True story.
-
-
-
God you're dumb.
-
4 million players, 10,000 likes is .25% of the populace.
-
Yes, but VOG weapons for vog weapons Crota weapons for crota weapons Exotic bounty weapons for exotic bounty weapons
-
It would kill the game..because people wouldn't grind for the guns they would go trade and everyone would have exactly the same. Then people would stop playing until new stuff comes out
-
Trading would break the game if added right now. Everyone would have everything within a few days and everyone would stop playing because there would be no reason to play. RNG is a big part of why people keep playing. Add an easy way to get around it and there won't be a point in playing anymore cause you've got everything.

I'm usually against the idea of a trading system, but this seems pretty solid

Edited by JibbsMcJive: 2/22/2015 5:18:17 AMPlayer 1 has 3 gjallarhorns. Player 2 pays 50 dollars real money for player 1 to trade a gjallarhorn for player 2's no land beyond. Game broken. Trading will never happen nor should it.

BUNGIE said that they would no do a trading system and I hope they stand by their guns and don't put one in, people want it, WORK FOR IT....
