Vex is probably the overall best Primary in the game to date. It's very good at both PvP and PvE The last word is a lot fun in PvE and one of the best hand cannons available. In PvE it's ok. I struggled against a swarm of enemies but was mainly due to the fact I more comfortable using a Scout Rifle. Red Death is just an average pulse rifle. It's a lot better since the buff but is rate of fire and reload are still an issue for me. It's better suited to PvE and come to think of it you struggle to find good pulse rifle on this game
