Maybe in expansions to come you work with her and become like her so you are able to blend in and have the same power that Crota has and defeat Oryx as a team with her. To add to my own idea of power we see the ranks which everyone is familiar to in this game, such as vanguard, and crucible, there is a new rank but more of something like, Crota's Power level. Which would also create a new level cap and maybe even a mix between a light and dark armour advantage. Like fighting fire with fire.
