The fact that loot isn't earned but random totally nullifies any legitimacy to any raid or strike. Cheesing Crota is just appropriate Karma for a shitty Loot system. Cheese away people, Until the loot system is actually rewarding players instead of punishing them then Bungie doesn't deserve the satisfaction of people playing the raids legit.

My group runs the entire raid legit faster than most people do while cheesing it. The only reason for anyone to cheese the raid is due to shitty gameplay and a complete lack of skill. Stop making excuses. You know you suck, we know you suck, the loot system has nothing to do with it.

Guess what?! Every game with an MMO style loot system has RNG drops. WoW, Diablo, Borderlands, all have RNG. And in these games, you still earn the loot. By killing these raid bosses over and over again, to the point where it is highly likely you will get the loot, you have earned that loot. And the communities of these games understand that, because they are not morons. "Earning" loot your way is boring as fk. There's plenty of ways to "earn" loot in Destiny, and guess what? They all require ranking up like 3 different factions and earning marks to get anything. And they are all so boring. The trade off to the raid loot system is that you get random gear, but you get it much faster than you would with ranking systems, and again, I repeat, if you get ANYTHING, it's almost always the best stuff you could possibly have. The sooner the Destiny community accepts that the RNG drops bring loot faster at the cost of not getting exactly what you want every time, and that maybe you shouldn't get the exact thing you want every time, the sooner you will start to enjoy the loot system and the rush of finally getting the right piece of gear, just like the non crybaby communities of other MMOs.

Longest living mmo do not use RNG. Everquest eve. You destroy a specific mob and he will drop that item. It's called camping young one. Also all the mmo that you said that use RNG also a trade and auction system. So RNG is good, but must be tempered with trade.

What? I ran the new raid 3 times and got a full set. VoG took waaaaay longer. They fixed the drops, you just cant kill Crota legit.

I can run it legit it's quicker cheesing and not everyone has your luck not to mention the fact there's so many game ending bugs in both raids *randomly succumbing to oracles* random detain shields* I see no reason why not to cheese a little.

Atheon has tons of bugs, you win that one. But Crota doesn't have many, the only one I've seen is the sword disapearing, and that's rare. And the the drops are way better in CE. Out of the 20 something times I've helped people run it, everyone always gets at least one piece of gear or a weapon. If you need assistane doing the new raid, I'll be glad to help.

O nah man I don't have trouble with it I beat it 5 times legit I just prefer cheesing it's quicker and the sword disappearing happens in 20% of my raids not common but not rare I just don't mind cheesing him to save time
