Petition: Increase Crucible Marks!
Alright. I think we need MORE crucible marks per game. I can max out vanguard marks in no time. Takes me all week to do that through the Crucible.
I'm saying 6 for a win, 4 for a loss.
Especially for those who don't enjoy playing it (I personally like it), and need the marks for their faction.
Whatcha think?

Edit: I'm also with most of the people here to give us a guaranteed reward after a win.
Edit 2: Almost 250 replies. In the Trending page. Never know, guys. Chances are slim, but maybe they'll pay attention.
Edit 3: 400 replies. Time for this to be seen! I also agree with most about raising the weekly limit to 150, at least. Even though I barely hit it as it is, would be nice to buy weapons in one week.

Yeah, I'd like to see this. It takes 7-10 hours to hit 100 marks. That's a little ridiculous for those of us who also enjoy playing PVE. Who had all that time to spend playing one game every week.

Drop the stupid max marks too or make it bigger. As much as I would love to have the marks bumped back up again I also would love to see commendations burn in hell. I am still perplexed by the fact they didn't just make R5 the cap then have the next sets at deeper ranks from there. Then we could have kept the old sets as earlier game gear.

I also hat how u now have to have a crucible commendation to get a helmet or chest. I just need the chest for dark below armor Bungie I already got the helmet from an engram, my gauntlets are ruin wings so those don't count and I got the leg armor. Take the commendations away so I can get a darn chest piece

I agree they should increase it. It usually takes me to get 75(which is for crucible armor) a half a day to 2 days. I have all crucible armor on me other than my gauntlets the ruin wings. I would love 4 for loss and 6 for win it takes forever to get marks

2 RepliesI agree with upping the amount of crucible marks gained and the premise behind it. I would like to see the 3 factions (Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and Future War) accept Vanguard marks. I think this would solve a large of the problem especially for those who hate PVP. The weapons have different skins at these vendors which are currently inaccessible to those who refuse to do PVP, this accounts to three fourths or more of all the skins. Please allow us to get these skins with either Vanguard or Crucible marks. Also it would be nice to also have our account gain 300 marks instead of each character gaining 100. This would allow me to play the character I like the most instead of forcing me to play classes I am not in the mood to play. It would be nice to have 1 breakdown component from armor instead of having 3 different ones. If I play one character more than others I have too many of those armor components and not enough of the others making it harder to switch characters even if I want to. Plus if every expansion is going to make my armor trash than playing multiple characters is a waste of time. This would help to make this issue less painful.

Seriously, it's so quick to get vanguard marks compared to crucible. There needs to be more marks per game or marks for doing crucible bounties

Yes please! I like the crucible, if im in the mood it can be really fun, however when i need marks/reputation it feels like such a grind. I feel like not only do you get less than half the marks per hour, but the bounties are also harder than vanguard bounties. On my alts it takes around 4 days for rank 2-3 vanguard if im only doing bounties, in crucible it took me closer to a week and a half for rank 2-3. If i only played crucible it would be quicker but i dont want to just camp crucible for a week or two to get all the marks/rep i need for the crucible weapons. It would be nicer if it was easier for you to do both crucible and vanguard bounties in one day if you put in 4-6 hours a day.

It should go back to 5-2, like it was a few months ago, which would give players also more of an incentive to try to win. Now when I'm playing (which is rarely) I really couldnt care less if my team wins or loses.

how about awarding marks when you cash in bounties? The glaring difference between vanguard and crucible marks is the number of sources from which you can get each.

They won't. The whole point is to keep you playing as long as possible. You just told Bungievision your willing to play all week to max out your marks. If anything they will give out less faction marks to extend play tine even more

1 ReplyBump to all that is holy. I'll start off by saying I don't enjoy the Crucible. It takes either extreme boredom or bounties to get me to play the crucible. Now, I also like achievements. When I learned I only get 2 marks for losing a game, I stopped trying. I need 100 before the weekly reset. Unfortunately, It seems I get paired up with a team of baboons every time I try to play the crucible, so I'm not spending 10 minutes to get 2 stupid marks and repeat that process again and again. No way in hell, sorry. Now, if they bumped up that number, I might have the motivation to play again to get 100/100 marks before the reset. And no, I'm not the best player in the Crucible BY FAR. I'm just saying that I shouldn't be placed with teams that are horrible 10 times in a row... It's just annoying. And yes, this happened to me last night. I was raging so hard XD

Yeah there are 4 factions including Crucible that use Crucible marks but only one way to get them, 2-3 at a time? And dont get me started on how I have to wear a Vanguard cape to level Crucible rep until I get to rank 2 and can buy their cape. The game economies in Destiny are all shades of jacked up. (I really don't like crucible but realized it's too much of the game to write off)

Instead of increasing the marks, let's the lower the price for gear. Helmet = 100 marks, Other gear = 50 All weapons = 100 marks
