You can't distinguish between an intended disconnection or a server failure, also that's not network manipulation, you're not modifying anything in the connection, since you just cut it off. You can call "Network Manipulatiors" things like the lagswitch, which are also cheat tools (You can be banned for using those) Taking advantage of a PvE game design flaw is not a cheat and does not deprive other players of the game experience, therefore you can't be banned for doing that cheese. This still doesn't make up for the fact that it should be patched ASAP, however.
