This is the problem with a FPS PvP arena designed around gear - people will complain.
Actually, it seems to be a problem with gaming in general...
This game requires adaptation, and most gamers today lack that skill. The few that do still adhere to the Darwinian archetype do some incredible things, like one-manning Crota's End (with the Fatebringer LIKE A BOSS!).
But then you have those who refuse to change - to shift with the dynamic of the game itself. They have 1 gun that they use, and refuse to really try anything else. That is why you have so many shotty whores running about still, even after they nerfed that months ago. And surprise surprise: those same shotty whores will inevitably come to these forums and complain about the Regime because, lo and behold, the guy using it killed them at distance while they were racing towards him with a weapon designed for close quarters only.
This is one aspect that I always loved with Bungie, and they created something perfect in the Halo MP: the idea that nothing is the guaranteed-get-you-a-win weapon in any MP map. You have an AR? At distance sniper and scout win. Mid range, it is 50/50. Close range the AR wins. You have a shotty? You lose anywhere not close, but you almost always win at that distance.
The problem is everyone wants their gun to be the gun for all situations, and that is not how this works, nor should it. If you are on the other side of the map using a fusion rifle, you should not be surprised when my sniper drops you. And If I am in your face, you should not be surprised that your sniper is damn near useless, unless you get lucky. But that is not how the majority thinks - if they die to a gun, they think it is OP and want Bungie to make the mean men with the bad gun go away to fix their booboo's instead of actually adapting to a new situation.

I agree for the most part, however I will say Suros is OP, not as much as people make it out to be though, slight nerfs to stability and range will make it just fine... Only slight ones so that any sort of noteable recoil exists at all and that it can't outgun a scout/sniper at scout range
