I tried doing that glitch or whatever you want to call it a few times, didn't work, so me and my fireteam just said f*ck it and did it legit. Honestly the glitch is just a waste of time. We wasted like 40 minutes trying to cheese him, and doing it legit only took like 15 minutes if that. Just push through and do it the right way, it's more rewarding. I remember the first time I did Atheon and the Templar without the cheese, much more satisfying both times.

2 RepliesIf you clicked past the Eula with the last update you may want to dig it off Bungie's site. It's really short. The only clause that seems relevant to the cheating bit only mentions hacking and modding, not exploiting or manipulating. It would seem that although the cheating is unscrupulous and annoying there is no threat of consequence to people that do it. Only fix bungie seems to have at their disposal is to patch it. People that glitch crota seem to be safe, the guy with the friend with custom mods to show Croats health and timers probably isn't.

Atheon and gatekeeper was a Grey area. These assholes are straight cheating/exploiting. They are breaking the tos, the op is using a game mechanism to get more from his characters.

This is a ban able offense but there's no way to tell if someone gets an error code or if they dc and the glitch happens. This glitch was an accident so bungie isn't gonna ban anyone until they can find a way to figure out if it's an error code crash etc. or a dc

The only time a gamer can get banned from playing is when they r doing something to modify play against other customers. I guess you can get banned though since they're are modifying your mood. And a power blackout wont result in an animal code or any other network error on the clients side like cutting cable or remove it or power off your modem/router or even quitting the game in a hurry ... Any provider errors wont result in any error either ! So good luck selecting whoom actually did the glitch after disconnecting 20 times to have work once ... I dont like glitching or cheesing either but accept the fact the there will always be a cheese to something in the game and the only people to blaim are the game devs who select the wrong ppl to test theyr alphas betas etc ... And asking to ban half of the ppl who play this is really not smart ;) To the grammar cops: im terrible sry english is not my first language but im happy that ppl understand what i say.

4 RepliesIn my opinion, they should take down the Raid and rerelease Normal and Hard together when they're fixed. As someone who set their alarm for 4am that Tuesday morning it came out so I could Raid with my friends, it's sad that people would use network manipulation to beat this Raid. I've beaten it twice. You'll never know the satisfaction of figuring out how to cross the bridge without checking YouTube first.
