Old troll thread. Crota. Cheeters. Blah, blah, blah.
But keep replying.
Definitely does not show those hurt feelings.

People have been doing this since Atheon. They are not going to ban anyone over this.
-
I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you
-
Butthurt much damn....

I'm literally laughing my ass off right now. You do realize that what you underlined, in no way accounts for using glitches in game. What you underline is in mentioning of situations such as what Lizard Squad had done. Even though they had used the ability in a negative way against gaming companies, it disrupted the network traffic for players. THATS what it means by what you underlined. VoG glitches were not banned and neither will Crota. Bungie will fix it and keep going. As will the players. So stfu and get some intelligence before you comment again.
-
I lol'd at succulent tears.
-
They can not prove wether or not your internet took a crap on you or you did it on purpose
-
I glitched once, simply because that's what the fire team it was in wanted to do... But I would rather beat him legit anyday. Either way I doubt there will be any banhammer action. But this thread was a fun read, especially OP's reply's to angry people's (aka glitchers) comments. When I read the OP, at first I was like OP's a fag, but then I was like OP's not a fag, he's alright with me. Happy holidays OP. :D

I agree that it's not the most ethical way, and it certainly breaks the ToS agreement. There are two problems with enforcing it unfortunately: 1) it's hard to differentiate whether the lost connection is a legitimate connection issue or if it was manipulated 2) there are a lot of people doing it, so it's unlikely they will ban people for it without posting a prior warning that after a certain date they will start enforcing it. Refer to super bounce days of Halo 2. That was a specific exploit in the game rendering on the server side. However, so many people did it, that they hardly enforced it unless people were repeatedly reported.

Lol ban for cheese crota, why do people care what other people do
-
I can't even find a team that don't wanna cheese gatekeepers or Crota ;(
-
You really believe bungie can ban anyone for this? Bahahaha.. The way people found out this cheese was on accident because someone disconnected right when Crota went down. All these people are doing is recreating what happened. Theres is so many reasons this could happen to someone 1) Dad quits destiny because his child isn't listening and the child turns destiny back on and joins the game again. 2) Mom gets angered and unplugs the xbox and you hurry back onto destiny after that. 3)You accidently eject destiny and you run back on before they kill crota. If you knew anything about coding or tech you would figure that this is a malfunction caused my the machine because of a simple fireteam error. Nothing was injected to the game and nothing is affecting the game currently. Before you make a statement check yourself.

Wait...so im gonna get banned for having a shitty connection and getting kicked from the crota fight when he's on his knees? xD This was probably discovered on accident, and being that it is a bug, it isn't technically grounds to be banned. Im sure they'll patch it eventually, until then, relax, you can always do it legit, I enjoy the raid without cheating, so can you.
-
They'd be banning a pretty large chunk of players if they ban everyone who has cheesed Crota. Even players who have done it legit a bunch of times have still tried this at least once because its interesting. Good try bud.
-
The problem is that if they did ban everyone, they could end up banning people with legitimate ISP issues.
-
To be honest, I haven't beat Crota's end because every team wants to " cheese" it. I just want 5 people to join that wants to beat it legit. It took a while to find a team to beat the vault so now the search is on for real gamers
-
Actually the people who do this so called "glitch" will not get banned for doing that. Just like everyone else is saying its Bungies own fault. When the Crotas End raid was in the making they should have tested the entire raid & look for bugs/glitches before releasing it to the public. The fact that because someone lags out & crota stays kneeling on the ground is bungies own fault. You can't ban someone for even having a terrible connection, it's not their fault that their connection is terrible. Blame the persons connection service company. It's all server based with this glitch, you can't get banned for that lol.
-
Ban me! I have done it a few times already :) BTW while you are at it, ban every single person who glitched there way past the lamps, ban those that jump to high places to get over the bridge, ban warlocks from doing the self res glitch to kill the ogres, ban the warlock again for doing the self res glitch that gives everyone a regen health bar against crota. Ban everyone that pushed the templar for months, ban all the atheon pushers, ban everyone that stays in the room near the shrieker against phogoth, ban the players that stay in the room next to val turec or what ever his name is so you dont wipe in NF, Ban the players that cheese the nexus, ban the players that cheese the archon priest, I think you get my point. But most of all ban the devs at bungie for making us grind the new raid every single week to get enough shards t rank up one piece of armor.....if you are lucky per week.
-
They didn't ban players for atheon so it's not going to happen here
-
Ya bungie is not going to ban anyone. They have too much to loose if they do. All they will do is put out half assed patch that will cause more glitches than the raid already has.
-
Ban people for design flaws? They have had ample amounts of time to make these easy fixes. It's their fault.
-
It would be stupid for Bungie to ban people for that. They would lose customers and future sales. Plus all the bad publicity would make their potential sales drop for the next game.
-
So only the people that d/c would get banned, what about the other 5 people in the raid that are just present? Does everyone get banned now? Blame goes to programming and not the end user finding the flaws that should have been discovered prior to release.
-
It's exploiting errors the dev team left undone. That's why the hard raid is not out yet. Let them find the glitches so they r patched and don't know how to do the hard raid when it comes out.
-
No one got banned for pushing of atheon or templar my good sir
-
Explain how you would even know who did and didn't do it? There network already kicks people normally..... Common Sense
