You're still going off about this? Deciding to quit the game just to have your mates urge you back in does not qualify as "modification or interruption." It's simply quitting the game. You are not disrupting the network. You are not affecting other players. The second the host leaves a match a new one is instantly selected by the game. If there is any interruption in the game it's because Bungie's lack-luster net code.

And that would be a lot people who would rage like hell (even though what they/we are doing is a known exploit). That would lead to a lot of bad publicity. And to boot, that would impact their precious "people playing" numbers quite a bit. Besides, the problem is really their fault - if the raid was "fun" and people played it because they had a good time doing so, you wouldn't see the cheesers as much. If the raid gave what felt like a good payoff (and I mean really, just because you got your 18th duplicate weapon stop complaining - some don't even get that) noone would feel like they were just grinding. Give us a time-sink that doubles as a repetitive and mundane task then watch us find a way to streamline that as much as possible.

They have so much pressure on them to release new content, because the content they provided we consumed to fast and people are getting tired of it. On the other hand, because they are so rushed, it appears they don't have enough time to test for quality assurance. As the raids, boss battles, strikes, everything in general is glitchy and easily manipulated. Part of me wonders, does Bungie want us to play this way? I don't mean disconnecting routers but, hiding in certain areas....won't name them. It's like that area was specifically cut out for this reason, each level seems to have a perfect cheese spot. Was this the way the game was designed? Maybe for soloing? If not, I would love to see a video of someone just beastmoding a Nightfall at level 30. Specifically at the boss encounter. Rather than hiding in a corner half the time (like myself) because literally everything one shots you...... However, back to the point. Nobody will get banned or punished. These exploits don't seem to affect other players as it's only in PVE. Bungie will not shoot itself in its own foot. Capitalism rules in this country. We are the paying subscribers, cash is king. Besides, Bungie is fully aware a handful of us are teetering on whether or not to buy the next DLC and probably would be thankful to be banned to make that decision all that much easier. God this game is addicting.... --

I mean, how will Bungie be able to tell the difference between who's disconnecting on purpose, and who's is an accident? And if they can't, they'll potentially be banning countless individuals for no reason at all.

The cheaters have been rewarded.,and are still being rewarded. The Reward the non cheaters get are harder raids after the patch comes out BECAUSE of the cheaters.. Thank you bungie, u guys are great

1 ReplyJust hold on a second, i did crota last night and my group had some weird connection issues and the leader lagged out and crota was just standing there and never moved again, just because the leader may levae doesnt mean its ALWAYS A GLITCH M8!!!
