Competitive multiplayer has always increased longevity especially when it comes to these first person shooters, it happened with CS, Halo and even CoD.
I just wish Bungie would realize this and focus more on the potential it has with PvP instead of squandering the resources on worthless repetitive AI in PvE.

Pvp is made to get gear for pve.
-
I strongly disagree
-
Well considering pve makes up about 70% of this game I call you wrong there
-
Why is it you continue this insanity? All your posts end up being met with "justice".
-
wrong game...mang
-
No,its not./thread
-
Oh man, this troll is back
-
I love playing pve but when I'm done with my pve stuff for the week/day it's straight to the crucible.
-
Yep that's true
-
Yet another retard on the forums.

Personally I think the strength of Destiny as a FPS is the potential it has to merge PVP and PVE I understand there are tons of people who are extremely averse to one or the other but I really believe bungie is doing their best to make the entire experience accessible to fans of either. Hence the exotic bounties, although they could have been improved on since there are a lot players who are extremely critical of them. I still think it's Bungie's MO to get fans of both camps to appreciate the other.

Idiot, the only new events that come out are pvp. Iron banner? Salvage and combined arms? Don't be stupid. If anything pve is getting ignored for pvp!
-
Hopefully getting inferno mode next DLC.

Edited by Argonaut101: 12/23/2014 9:24:10 PMAbsolutely 100% the other way round ... Tard !! The Crucible has so many errors and flaws it's not even worth playing it's so bad. It's the worst multiplayer game I ever played , and I played Modern Warfare 2 and 3 a LOT
-
I like PvP more than PvE also but with no true skill ranking you wont get get paired with equal players
-
Being a FPS pvp veteran I think the crucible is far from perfect, but different and a lot of fun.
-
Want games with a focus on PvP? Play Halo or CoD.
-
Agreed

Oh, you again, with your 5th or 6th PvP related inflammatory post. Serious question, if you love PvP so much, and you clearly do, why are you playing Destiny? Destiny's PvP is at best, a mediocre experience. The things you complain about constantly are things that are inherent to Destiny, and if they were removed from PvP, you would no longer be playing Destiny. If you're looking for a hardcore PvP experience, go play a different game. There are better PvP oriented games out there than this one. I hear 343i finally got Halo: MCC working, for example. I like Destiny for what it is, but if my sole interest was PvP, I'd be looking elsewhere.

The entitlement is strong with this one

You forgot the #satire

Ever watch Family Feud?? Recognize these? XXX That's what I think ;)

I disagree as would most of the community poll after poll has shown that pve is the meat of this game and it is weaker because of pvp. The next Destiny would be more successful as a true mmo not a hybrid as is the current game. Imagine Destiny 2 with large open worlds a sweeping story larger fireteams imagine the game loaded with missions 40 or so strikes and at least a few raids at launch perhaps space combat.

You realize multiplayer is just a filler for most games right? Games incorporate it just so you can have something else to do. Games like Cod and Battlefield are just exceptions to that.
