I respect that. I just got my black hammer and that makes everything more challenging and interesting, particularly with bosses, in that a string of precision hits auto refills your clip. sepiks, nexus, devil walker, etc are much quicker to kill. using the same guns over and over with the same results is monotonous.

I don't think you comprehend what he was saying. He was trying to say he doesn't bite bad games he usually has people steer him clear but this time it didn't happen. If you going to read the article he clearly likes the game but was hugely disappointed.

I comprehend it. he doesn't buy bad games and this is the worst game of the year. doesn't sound too ambiguous. otherwise wtf was the point of the first two sentences? with that said it's a complete regurgitation of every other critic and player review, hence my belief that he hasn't played it.

agreed. but not every movie roger ebert negatively reviews do I agree with. in the gaming world past experiences create the reverence (or irreverence) for the present. for instance, I've never played a MMO so I do not compare this to anything other than itself. in that regard I'm happy because this game is just what I need and not less than what it should be. I also didn't follow it's release build-up so I'm not let down by their false promises. I feel a lot of players have identical situations to mine. it goes back to the restaurant analogy. if you heard there was 1 lb burgers, flame broiled, absolutely delicious somewhere but when you show up it's a microwaved quarter pounder, you don't continue to eat at the restaurant. you never come back. you also wouldn't sit in the lobby day after day complaining to the busser (deej, spill control) about how the restaurant sucks. bungies biggest fukk up was allowing the potential for suggestions to be listened to. it's a great idea but there are too many to process as quickly as each player would like. I've never seen a game where the community had such sway over it's product. I don't have any say on how my toaster operates, I don't have any say on the functionality of my iphone. I use them the way they were designed. I understand some peoples frustrations but to call this the worst game of the year is laughable. it's far from.
