I used to feel that all supers in the game were OP in crucible (making everything effectively balanced) but no more. I think ward of dawn needs a buff in pvp.
It can be shattered by golden gun, nova bomb and fist of havoc and easily infiltrated by arc blade and radiance. Sure it has it's uses in holding down control objectives, but I think it could use some improvements to make the subclass more fun in pvp.
Nowadays everyone knows not to step inside the bubble unless you're packing serious heat. So we don't see as many of those ward of dawn punching massacres we saw at launch.
This came to mind as i used radiance to run inside an enemy bubble and melee/grenade 4 of their team. Just felt pretty bad for the selfless defenders who give so much, but in return only receive a beating.

If you think about it though, every super is designed to counter every other super. That way, the power doesn't come from the actual ability, but rather from the timing of said ability. If I use radiance, and then you pop novabomb, golden gun, blade dancer, or fist of havoc, I am probably going to die. Even with the shield, going in and trying to melee them all only works if they stay in the bubble with you. You can set this up any way you want, but the point is if two people both have supers, whoever uses theirs at the proper time is the one that's probably going to win.
