If you go AFK on a Roc Strike...
Don't worry, I understand that sometimes important things will come up. I will wait for you patiently until you get back. If you don't come back and and going AFK to get free gear, then I'm sorry that you were AFK too long and got sent to orbit. I waited as long as I could.

Edit: Yes solo'ing strikes are easy. And I do it too, right after you get kicked for inactivity.

2 Repliesa report can be filed easily with bungie for you not being helpful. all a player has to do is, highlight your name on the fireteam, select report player and a list comes up with what to report the player for. so if you just want to do nothing while others are in the fight, YOU can be reported!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I was a Strike A dude lagged out and messaged me if he can come back so I invited him and as soon as he's flying over here We kill Omnigul and we all get legendary engrams( which turned into shards), rng at its finest

83 RepliesThis is just stupid. Who cares if they went afk? The strikes are easy as shit and don't need more than 1 person. If it really bothers you people that much your gonna sit there and waste your time waiting for the afk to get kicked? Just either do the damn strike or go to orbit and try again. Shit, it's one 15 min strike you turn into a half hour -blam!-ing with the afk person. Guess who really loses in that situation? Not the guy watching game of thrones while you melee his character for 20 min. Oh but they get free rewards.... Who gives a shit. Their rng doesn't affect your rng. You get the same shit regardless of what they get. I swear, the children that play this game...

If the game awarded actual performance, (as well as a vote to kick/AFK countdown timer), this wouldn't be an issue.

2 RepliesEdited by sutterboys: 12/23/2014 6:21:32 PMjust so you know if your going to do this you have to go to the first respawn point if you just spawn in when they get to the final boss of the strike it will kick you so go to the first respawn point and sit down then watch TV this is my favorite thing to do. The strikes are way to repetitive and it doesn't matter who does good and who doesn't so if a guy comes in my game afk I'm gonna run it and not complain because its easy anyway.

I tend to report people as unhelpful, unfriendly, and inactive if they are clearly just being jerks... Which happens a hell of a lot more regularly if there's a "don't die" in a strike bounty.

4 RepliesI've been AFK twice, neither intentionally. Never had a problem with it, I get more two man fire-teams just leaving immediately. I just hate it when right at the spawn I take a few seconds to switch armor or get ammo and right away I'm getting meleed by a level 30+.

O.o Edit: there should be a 2 or 3 strike minimum before people should consider posting though invade that person has extenuating circumstances. Like, oh the kitchen was on fire. (exaggerating of course but you get the idea) For instance I'll go to the bathroom and have to catch up.

I had a AFK guy in my group yesterday. The other guy and I did most of the strike then when we got to the tank on Mars we wipe so the AFKer shows up and does his part. We get to the boss and wipe again and we sit in the back while the AFKer kills him. The AFKer was the only one that didn't get a legendary drop. :D

Hardly ever have this problem on the ps4.. I usually run multiple strikes in a row and sometimes I need a toilet break and just afk at the start of a strike for a few minutes. When I come back I throw them a wave then proceed to steal all there kills with fatebringer. Majority of ps4 users are good sports and do their share of the work. My point is not all people who go afk are lazy bastards.

Just be me >Roc starts >one guy leaves, the other not moving >checks phone for about 5 minuets >done checking phone, guy still not back >sparrow blast guy to death and proceed with strike.

Was playing Winters Run on Roc the other day when I noticed that 1 guy at the start wasn't moving. I thought 'no big deal, I hope he comes back.' I played until we got to the pikes and saw that he had died twice. I take a closer look at his name and notice it was finally moving about. 'Odd, since we cleared out all the enemies', I thought, ' but at least he'll be along any minute now'. We get to the archon priest and he still hasn't caught up. I take a closer look at his name and... It is moving in little circles. I finished the strike, got more blues as usual, and the next strike loaded up. As per my assumption, he was indeed moving in circles. Promptly went to orbit after the other random was fed up with the afker as well.
