Nah, Scorch SUCKS. Sunsinger is my main, the flame shield perk is a little bit strong, but the base melee and the other perks suck. Scorch is literally used just for the shield since the DoT which is the MAIN EFFECT of scorch sucks ass. It needs a DoT buff just like thorn got

Almost impossible to kill with that flame shield. An entire clip into the head and body didn't work. Lol. Suppressor grenades are great but you need to know where and when. Great on a capture point

I don't think the DoT necessarily needs a buff, it just needs to be more reliable. It often doesn't work for me at all... or in some cases, it activates when I don't even have a charge for Scorch, yet melee'd someone.

I don't think thorn got a dot buff, it got a dot fix (after the "accidental" nerf)

Thorn DoT used to be 5 damage, but last time I used it the DoT did 7. The fix was when they accidentally lowered it to 3 during the exotic revamp.

You didn't read the post obviously. Flame shield MAKES the melee god tier. I'm all for nerfing flameshield if they give scorch a buff
