Scorch Melee with flame shield is Bullshit in pvp
Dont even lie you know this melee is the peak of bullshit.
Why is it that every other melee in the game REQUIRES you to get the kill for a shield or health regen but this bullshit melee lets you just tap them and BOOM overshield.
And now the new gauntlets let you have two? Are you serious? Nerf it or at least CHANGE IT so you HAVE to get the kill. So stupid
Edit:Lol i love how these people comment on overpowered things when theyve never played the class! Its stupidity at its best.

Edit2:Man people are so butthurt about making something fair? If you are telling me im a bitch or im crying then its blatantly obvious you are heavily reliant on this melee. Just like self resurrecting in pve. Its a cancerous crutch.
Edit3: if you have 3 or 2 of the same class and/or have never played all 3 classes. Just leave the thread I dont need someone with 3 warlocks telling me im a baby and that his class is perfectly balanced and how op hunters or titans are when theyve never played them.

I may be wrong here but I believe Bungie has yet to rebalance anything with classes. They know the classes are balanced and they don't need you telling them they're wrong.

An overshield is just an extra shield. It's not even that useful outside of pve since you're generally left with a sliver of health. Defender Titans require a kill because they come with the ability to REDUCE the damage they take after the kill, which would be overpowered if they didn't need a kill. (I wouldn't mind though because this would make them hella tanky in pve but pvp -blam!-s that idea) If I need to kill, I'd better receive damage -blam!-ing reduction, not a gawddamn overshield that barely survives anything other than pathetically weak enemies. Now, I do believe Warlock melee needs a serious reduction in range.

There's a huge delay on getting the shield. If you both punch each other at low health, it'll be a trade.

Love my warlock but yeah, it shouldn't be better than Titan in cqc which it currently is. Really bummed me out at first.

Pretty sure that most people that play warlocks are pretty easy to beat. They get used to slow movement, back peddling, and flying around. Easy target. If you can't kill a noob Warlock you're bad.

I agree. Scorch is OP. Longer range than blink strike and a lot of power. Hell, I don't even get bonus damage from blinkstrike unless I equip backstab (which doesn't work well anyways). Warlocks are clearly the noob class of the game

well idk if anyone else is getting this but sometimes when i melee my flame shield doesnt even activate and sometimes it doesnt even ignite the enemy, is this a glitch anyone else is getting?

1 ReplyGood. Scorch can usually be a 1 hit kill. Puts it up there along with blade dancer & Ward of Dawn considering the bubble can make you near invincible.
