I'm not them, obviously, but if I was, I would introduce a lvl 32 hard mode. But rather than dropping higher lvl gear, it has the same drops, but a chance at a vault-specific material that you could use to upgrade your existing vault raid gear. That way we still have the grinding feeling that the want, but the gear that people have been solving over can still be useful. Not to mention it looks awesome, and having both vault and crota armor as well as the armor from future raids bring you to max, will give us all a more diverse player base. Rather than all max lvl players rocking the exact same gear.

Thank you. One of the most noted things that bungie has been saying, even after the game has come out is that we are forging our on guardian, and that we should have a story for each piece of gear. I just want that to become true, because if you didn't get your gear from whichever raid is newest, than its going to get replaced when you do. I want new players 5 years from now to look at a max lvl player who has been playing from the beginning and say something to the effect of, "Holy crap! Your warlock looks amazing! How do I get that armor?" And every time the answer should be more complex than, "Do the raid."

Haha yeah carry overs to the next game should stand equal with the next game loot. If it all gets replaced why let us carry over characters in the first place, levels are meaningless without the gear.
