It's cheating.
-
Edited by calitriuk: 12/21/2014 11:00:07 AMThis isn't cheating, so what they are missing out as playing different classes. If it was cheating then why does Bungie allow it to happen at all? It's not like they've glitched the game into doing something they shouldn't be capable of. Let's face it this method I'm pretty sure takes a lot of time and effort. They never get three classes to level 32 but that's probably fine with them. I can kind of see the logic to it. I've seen a lot of posts on the forums past and present for raid teams looking for level 'insert level here' and if you're not that level then they don't want you (it's probably why I'll never find a raid team). This has forced players into finding alternative means to reaching the max level. If you rely solely on RNG you might be unlucky and never achieve the max level (this does happen). And for my own curiosity, honestly why do you care?
-
Please tell me how it's cheating exactly. Some people have more time on the game and clearly want to be the highest level in the game more than you do. In which it's possible by grinding out new characters every week. But that's their choice. And iron banner is suppose to be in favour to higher level players. So if you want to be level 32 as fast as possible don't complain when it involves serious grind.
-
I actually have a job that keeps me away from home for a couple of weeks at a time. The material caps keep me from getting half the materials that other players get for the same hours/effort. Tell me why I can't use 3 of the same characters to keep up, given those stupid limitations. Note: I only have 1 character over level 20, but I might start using this method.
-
Why would you not want to get your favorite class to the max level quick anyways? Anybody would want to get there favorite class to level 32 as quick as possible.. I used 3 warlocks to get to 30 before the DLC came out and once I hit 30 I then got a hunter to 30 once I got him to 30 I did the same with a Titan, now that the DLC came out I deleted my Titan and made another Warlock so I can get my Warlock to 32 as quick as possible.. Most people do it this way and I see no problem in it, also I've deleted and made about 10 characters which is a good 70 hours of play time so I don't believe that I have "cheated" myself out of any play time.

He has to be joking. Someone please tell me he's joking...please hahaha.
-
Your a -blam!-ing noob you've done the raid 6 times i bet 5 out of 6 of your raids where pushing atheon off
-
-
EDIT 6: unless you have a viable other side of the story do not comment. You are only further proving you cheaters have no good excuse for your multiple character armor cheesing. How exactly is it "Armor cheesing". It is allowed. If not Bungie would have stopped it by having different vaults for each character you have.
-
OP says he skips to the end checkpoints of raids for rewards........ I'm pretty sure that's the same thing you are telling everyone else NOT to do from your high horse. I thought we weren't allowed to skip levels (gear swap) for better rewards? But you can skip raids?
-
Pointless post we I mean I don't care you a hater. It's my game you don't buy it for me
-
I love my two warlocks the reason i don't have a hunter is cuz i don't like the hunter how am i cheating im still -blam!-ing playing I have 2 warlocks and. A Titan i dont like the Titan but 3 warlocks r boring so i made. A titian
-
I agree generally, although your last paragraph shows you have a strange concept of random...multiplying random still gets you random. Multiplying percentage chance - yes lol
-
Just read your last paragraph. The worst part about Destiny is the loot system. There is no way to earn anything. You can't strive and see your hard work allowing you to progress, it's just f---ing random. If you're a casual you won't understand.
-
I grinded all three of my titans and have 3 of every weapon so far. And different sets of armor which I played for one character at a time. I don't like the hunter or warlock class. Yes I have 3 ghorns
-
Thinking about deleting my Titan for another Hunter.
-
You suck at life and your family probably hates you. Good bye.
-
You've beat the raid 15 times with a k/d of 0.90 in PvP, who are the -blam!- are you? You're a dumbass, let people play however they want.
-
What if a player really like warlocks? Or they want one of each subclass?
-
Edited by Evertill: 12/21/2014 10:24:45 AMPersonally, I think it's boring and pointless, but people are free to play how they wanna play. Until Bungie makes it so you can't make multiples(which they never will), you're not breaking the system because that's an integral part of it. I feel like they are missing out. I want to get all the exotic gear for all of my characters and make them each the best of their class! I feel like people miss out on a lot that Destiny has to offer by only using one character, but hey, that's just my opinion. Plus many of these people have played all 3 classes and have capped at least 1 sub class, so at least they tried them all. However if there's someone with all three of the same character, and that's the only class they've played, then I think they're stupid!

Edited by fordfff: 12/21/2014 10:35:39 AMBwahahahahaaaahahaaaaahhhhh. Another day, another self-obsessed idiot. Next time i start a game, i'm gonna request your permission what is allowed and what's not, so i don't shame myself by doing the wrong thing. Edit: find yourself a job maybe instead of bitching about how people with less time play the game
-
Shut up meg
-
I have two titans and one hunter. I have the hunter just for the achievement. I don't have the time to level up and collect for 3 different classes. When the hunter is done I will do the warlock. After that I will level another Titan.
-
Edited by Kami: 12/21/2014 10:26:18 AMWell SORRY that I don't really like the two other classes, that I only made the two other classes to get the achievement/trophy, so I can just wipe em and make another character of the class I DO LIKE. Not to mention, I have other games I want to play and such, I rather cut down the grinding by doing bounties on multiple characters to lvl weapons/armor so I can get it over with and get gear for my main that I will ONLY use all the time, as the alts are just for more chances on weekly things. And if I truly wanted to, I have the other class exotics in my vault, and the commendations in vault so I can buy gear if I do go back to using the other classes.
-
I like using Titan then hunter then warlock but I ain't gonna bad mouth someone just cause they wanna be the first lvl 32 by using 3 hunters or whatever
-
Grinding is grinding. Not everyone can play loooong hours on destiny and play every single character. There's no "legitimate players" on destiny. You know life existed before Destiny haha. Others have lives outside
