Its just Fusion rifles in general... If I need kills or points for a close game I always swap to my fusions. I don't like doing it because I feel they're overpowered in general.. The 'charge time' argument doesn't really have any point because you set up your shots the same as any other gun, only difference is you're charging the fusion while you're doing it

  • All the charge time does, is allow you to precharge and store up your damage, then unleash it when you get line of sight. Rather than something negative, it's an advantage when used correctly. So I agree the charge time argument doesn't work. Maybe if it was longer.

  • Dedicated charge per trigger pull is honestly how i see fusions getting balanced. Pull trigger once, fusion charges fully and fires even if you let go of the trigger. Or have it function like how pulses worked in beta (hold the trigger for a full burst or tap for a partial with appropriate changes to how its clip works) Could also see it functioning like the plasma pistol having a battery percentage.

  • Yeah, that's a good idea that works too. Correct prediction should be rewarded but currently you can just feather the trigger and most models will charge faster than most guns can kill as soon as you see a target.
