Replacing Surplus with Metal Detector would, effectively, be nerfing the green ammo. Surplus allows Infinity to get twice as much ammo per crate as other Fusion Rifles which is one reason why it's so easy to main even though it should be consuming so much ammo. Also, Plan C can be better in a very skilled player's hands. Pocket Infinity can be wielded by anyone and kill in one burst from insane range consistently. It's got a bit longer charge and a lower Range stat but the three rounds do well over twice as much damage as a shot from Plan C, so it can OHKO everything consistently.

I think a reducing green ammo in PVP will make for a better option that way almost all OP special weapon will be less used. Green ammo are everywhere you can never ran out of green ammo. BTW I suck at PVP and I find Plan C is much more reliable I kill with one burst it's more accurate and have a shorter charge rate. PI kills with tow bursts and have a very long charge rate. For me (PVP noob) I find VOG shotgun and Plan C are a better option.

I find that interesting, as Plan C requires more careful aiming to OHKO. Yes, I would love to see less Special ammo but I think that would royally tick off half of the community that uses Shotguns all day long. Maybe in the Hardcore playlists in the next DLC?
