That weekly update was by far the most efficient way of telling community "We are not listening" I can think of. This game is all wrapped up OP. It sucks that Bungie lied and told everyone that this game had any kind of future plans because it doesn't. If you don't like it how it is now, my only advice is to get cozy with being pissed every other week. They literally just went on vacation without replying to a handful of accusations thrown at them by popular journalists and half of their forum community. If that doesn't tell you they don't give a -blam!-, I don't know what will.

  • I don't think it matters, they already have our money. We could all dip right now and they wouldn't be affected. And you know they'll come out with another titan of a marketing campaign for the Comet expansion, Destiny 2, etc., to assure us that "things will be different this time around". They won't be, but enough people will believe them for them to continue doing it.

  • Bungie is giving up on this disaster - having made millions of dollars off of us - and is going to start focusing on the millions they want to make with Destiny 2. Oh sure, they'll keep making patches and updates for Destiny, but there is no will to turn D1 into something great.

  • I feel like that was their plan from the beginning. Release the game and immediately move on the next one. I don't see any reason to believe that they ever intended to work on this game after it was released. They haven't actually listened to the community since a month after launch. Any attempts at making us believe that they would was nothing but marketing fodder, and we were stupid for believing it.

  • Exactly. With the dlc expansion packs being all preexisting crap, they could pull a majority of the team to D2, and leave a skeleton crew behind to spend a year working on the Comet expansion. At least that one has legitimate amount of content. But knowing Bungies pricing scheme now, and the comment that it'll be on disc as well as digital, its guaranteed to be above 30$. Remember HoW has next to nothing, but its 15$ too. They've gotten so lazy they don't even bother to keep stuff like the glorified bounty missions for the Queens useless crap up. At least the gear you could get offered a new look, even if it was trash. Iron banner, took them 3 efforts to get a level difference to mean anything, and even then all it meant was a lvl 20 might take 2 extra bullets to kill me. Good thing they all just use fusion rifles and slide shotgun one hit kills!

  • Sad but true. They made a ton of money off of us for what is essentially a test to see what will work - and sell! - for Destiny 2.
