• The wrong way to do things is to get a group of people together and decide on it. I heard that in a quote on a music documentary once. The people on the forum are but a small percentage that play the game.

 • A tiny fraction. The vast majority of ideas presented here are awful. The vast majority of complaints are as well. The last thing I want is to have a game company listen to the players that cheat, exploit, and basically want to play until they break their toy.

 • I happen to think the game is pretty well balanced. I am a hunter and I see a lot of people say blade dancer is OP and it's not really. It's quite balanced because us hunters are easier to kill while our special is up than when a titan or warlock activate theirs. I see more blade dancers get wrecked in their special than Titans using fist of havoc. Sure, we can get more kills over time, but you can get more kills in one shot. It's also easier to avoid a blade dancer than a striker. As far as the raids and people calling them too hard or certain parts difficult, I'd love to see them try raiding in wow where there are actually mechanics other than duck and cover.

 • If you are talking pure game mechanics, I find Destiny to be exemplary, no question. It is a game that I will play "just to go shoot shit" for pure fun. If the balance and mechanics were not there, I wouldn't be able to play this way.

 • I'm talking raid mechanics only. Like on the lich King in wow, you had to run out of the raid to drop defile or else it would be in the middle and if you stood in it, it got bigger. They kinda introduced this in crotas soul mission and the origin strike with the green pools you don't want to stand in. Sure, Atheon had the teleport phase, but that's just about all it had. Kinda simple compared to some of the raids I've done in wow.
i don't have a lot of vog clears and I haven't done crota either because none of my raid group are generally on when I play.
• Gotcha. In WoW I stopped raiding Lich King and devoted to PvP only there. Here in Destiny I don't raid at all. I have completed VoG once and that was plenty. I will do Crota once as well.

 • I was never good at wow pvp. Too much to worry about builds and such. As well as resilience and managing a second set of gear. Destiny on the other hand, pvp is much simpler. gear doesn't matter, weapons don't really matter either. Perks help a little, but not a lot. And even character perks are barely noticeable. I gotta say, if blade dancers invisibility actually hid you from the other players, I'd use it more, but you look like a stealth vandal and it's really obvious. I stopped wow shortly after mists was released. Too much to grind to get geared to raid with the lack of tabard rep. That and 15 a month didn't feel worth it. Especially when we paid 40 or so for new expansions. Tdb in wow would have been "free" to update, as it would only be a patch, not an expansion. But if you think about it, it actually costed you 45 dollars, because it's a 3 month subscription until that patch, I'm happy paying 20 dollars for destiny dlc though it's still over priced, purely because there is no monthly fee. But this is all off topic anyways. Lol.
