There is one show stopper that even they didn't think about and the funny thing is, people might be a bit to burned out to care.
This game is part of a franchise. There will be sequels. This isn't a one game then upkeep and expansions. They are going to try and rip off another full price game.
If they do put out more than these two packs I wonder if people will still give a damn. Well the majority of the first round buyers that is.

I thougt it was 4 dlc per game.

2 dlc > 1 big dlc (priced at 60$ (full price game) > destiny 2 (60$ obvs). And you can assume they will keep this model for destiny 2 to destiny 3.

well we can assume they would like to keep the model, but in terms of numbers it is not working. they simply have not gotten the attach and retention they hoped for. ATVI were looking for a game changer, and destiny has not pulled in the players, nor retained them .
