YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

I didnt think the nightfall could get worse than the ones I played last week....I was wrong, sorta It was me and a friend of mine (he has been playing since launch, I have since October) WE BOTH WANT BALLERHORN Its 2 of us and 3 can be in a nightfall so I invited a guy I recently raided with (he has been playing for a little over a month) We kill Omniwhore and the whole time im chanting ballerhorn in the mic. I get 11 Strange coins My friend gets some legendary pulse (shards) the guy who has been playing for a month gets the damn BALLERHORN Friend rage quits lol

Taking a beating from crota hardmode for two hours, stuck with the team even tho i wanted to leave so bad, eventually beat him and got two energies. So...much...salt

After a lot of crota nm kills i finally get the helmet, i grind bounties for a day to max it out quick so i can get to 32 and do hm. 3 out of the 4 times i've done hm now i've gotten only helmets -.-

This week nightfall with a friend i get 11 shards and he gets 9 shards we do crota end on normal im a 32 i get no land beyond from desthsinger after that i run the sword we kill crota with 2 swords someone gets gjallarhorn......

Any of the mida drops I've seen. It's the only exotic I truly want. Especially the night the guy complained about it and how he isn't going to give up his suros for it so it's worthless. [spoiler] not saying I wouldn't be happy with a ghorn and do on. The mida is just the one I want.[/spoiler]

My worst loot drop is getting 4 plan c's in 3 days from 2 engram, rock, and now on hard crota :l I now have 7 plan c's which I will get 4 free shards off

... This week entirely. NF1: 11 energies VoG Exotic Chests per 3 profiles: shards and energies Deathsinger per 3 profiles: shards and energies NF2: No Land Beyond No Land Beyond gave me some some hope for Atheon and Crota.

Got on to play tonight and XBox couldn't load friends list. Finally got connected with friends for Nightfall and slogged through the non-burn tedium for what seemed forever. Finally killed that shrieking ho-bag and got 11 ascendant shards. Afterwards, We ran Crota on normal, took less time and was actually enjoyable. I still didn't get anything worth having (one other guy did get a Truth), but those 11 nightfall shards just felt like a punch in the fruit stand. I'm sure I'm not alone, but that sucked.
