This video shows one thing: Hunters can win it solo. Saying he could do this because has maxed weapons, and uses his stealth ability is implying you think his feat is dependent on that. Very doubtful. Best it with your warlock like this guy did, then you can talk class smack.

I see you call ppl adolescences, but in the end the one who needs to grow up is you sir. You are stating the obvious, but in a highly provokative manner which results in the replies you recieve. You could have made the post look more neutral tho. Iam sure more ppl will pop up that can solo it, but only the dedication in itself deserves being called MLG tbh... I have the same weapons he used and I consider myself rather on the skilled player side, but holy hell dude... HE soloed a raid where whole teams fail and atm maybe like 2% of the Destiny population completed.

Meh that last edit was because I was growing tired of repeating myself to people. It really was a neutral post but then too many people are taking it the wrong way so I said -blam!- it. People read half of it and automatically assume I posted it to be a dick or whatever so i stopped trying to defend myself. Lol but sure, call me whatever you like. I posted a comment on this thread basically stating he made it look easy only because of his arsenal. Then towards the end of my post it became just more of a joking sarcastic tone. Then people started with the '-blam!- you, you're jealous ' and blah blah blah, therefore I knew people were taking it more than literally, people are actually acting like I am attacking this guy. So once again, I don't care. Lol, if I can't post any criticism without a baby crying on the forums than I guess people need to put on big boy underpants and learn to talk about a subject rather than jumping on it with '-blam!- you, you suck' but yet I'm in the wrong because I was trying to defend and explain what my point was.

And tbh the "only" weapon that makes a huge difference is the Gjallahorn. Especially during the Crota fight. I got my Gjallahorn from Xur, I got my IceBreaker from an engram (but Xur sold it aswell), Fatebringer is a relatively common drop on hard raid (I got 3 drops of it from like 10 times killing the Templar). Point being is that he could go trough 80% of the raid with even a more basic selection of weapons except the last fight. Still in my eyes pretty damn impressive...

I mean yeah good guns make it easier to solo, but I would venture to say plenty of people have the trio that I do.

What, I see myself as a casual player.. raiding maybe once a week on one char.... I also have Fatebringer, Timepiece, P&T, Gjallerhorn, Icebreaker and so on... most of them maxed.

You have 2 more days than me and I have gjallarhorn, ice breaker, all the raid weapons except foil, every useful exotic barring last word.

I'm sorry I don't understand, You people below are complaining how hard it is with the hunter class, but what I keep seeing is "with a hunter you have to go invisible and avoid enemies, whereas the other classes you just fend them off on top of a rock." I didn't realize hunters couldn't sit on rocks and shoot thralls. To me it seems that hunter class just opens up another strategy. In turn making it easier. Think before you write people. Also read before you judge this guy is stating facts not bashing. Most of you don't even know slayer so even if this guy WAS bashing, how does that offend you? And to all you out there that may reply to this calling me hypocritical, I'm not. I'm neither offended nor upset, I'm just hoping people will read this and think twice before making themselves look stupid on the internet.

How about you try to do what he did. He makes it look way easier then it actually is. As far as which class is better well you can turn invisible and avoid getting hit, hide inside a disco ball or die and revive over and over and over again. Hunter class is hard difficulty Titan is medium difficulty Warlock is easy difficulty.

I even complimented the guy and said he's good enough to do it without the weapons but it was the weapons that made it look easy and helped him finish faster

I have the exact same weapons he has but he still made it look easier than it really is and I have plenty of skill. Still trying to figure out the bridge part of it. I can get across multiple ways but not the way he did.

The beginning can be soloed by any class. The only difference is that other classes have to kill the ogre that spawns. Otherwise, it's easier than hunter because you just sit on a small rock and wait vs. avoiding thralls and such in stealth.

Concerning your comment on hunters, I'm assuming you're the kind of person that melees Crota without the sword. Or you try to be the hero of the group and take on those hundreds of thralls in the first section because you're too good to run away from them. "Running away" is a very viable strategy in this game. You try to do a raid without running away from a single enemy. When that swordbearer charges you, don't cowar like the rest of us. Just stand there and shoot. Or charge back at him. That's your logic in a nutsack.

I have a shield on melee attack to help sponge some damage of being up in front so my teammates can follow through. Thank you for trying to make me look like an ass, though. Also, I'm not that ballsy. I don't make decisions like that unless it's beneficial. I try to be strategic with my self revive and my shield melee

I wasn't trying to make anyone look like an ass. I just disagreed with the parts where you criticized hiding and running away since the enemies in this game dish out more damage than my mother's wooden spoon on my ass as a child.
