I was just wondering if there were any people in the septagon who are in canada, as I would like to find out if we can arrange some tournaments locally ( I live just south of Toronto ).
I know people often go and have people over at there houses for LAN parties ( heck, I have them every month or so, but having 12-16 people over is kind of hard on the house, not to mention the electicty).
-
I'm just curious as to how exactly Bungie is making live play more like a LAN party with your freinds. They've said this incorporates the new XBL 3.0 features.
-
When Halo2 comes out, I'm still going to have LAN parties, because they have quite a different feeling then over live. In fact, there's a thread where they discussed this somewhere else, with some interesting statements from Halo53 in particular.
-
I'm a Canadian.
-
YA CANADA!!! i live in BC and love it. and no canadiankamikazi, i cant come over to your house to play halo. sorry. it's like a 40 hour drive. lol
-

It would be real nice if we could organize three tournaments at the same time, and then play over XBConnect for the actual stuff, so you could have a variety of opponents.
-
O could get that stuff easy ehough, what I need is a plane ticket.
-
I can get the stuff needed for a 16 player LAN game for 50 bucks Canadian. Its the TVs, Xboxs, and people that are the hard part.
-
I live in westend Toronto but i don't have an ethernet hub unless a router counts ,doesit? you know i'll pistol you down! [Edited on 6/12/2004 7:50:54 AM]
-
Why not? I've went and done some pretty crazy things in my life, and some people I know have done stuff even crazier (one guy went body surfing at Sarstock when ACDC came up on stage) Besides, I can always go on XBConnect to play with them. I had 6 people at my house once and all we did was play online.
-
I can't help but pointing out your unsmartness. You live by Toronto and you are talking to anyone in CANADA! Do you realize how big Canada is? I am pretty sure you meant it differently, but I could not refuse a jib. It did sound kind of dumb, you should have said "Toronto" because someone a province away is not going to go to your house to play Halo. Please use common sense. P.S. I am Canadian [Edited on 6/11/2004 4:51:23 PM]

Has anyone noticed that everyone lives in either east or west canada or the prairies? For the largest population center in the country, Toronto doesn't have very many online fans.... British Columbia is great. So is the U.S, and Germany, and England, and possibly Japan (been to all these places, hehe). I don't know about The Netherlands. Suppose I watched Goldmember to many times.

im an edmonton pistol -blam!-

Cant do crap out here in alberta...

Go Swiss and Germans! Forgot about them ;)

All right, my turn. Quoting Stalking Puma:
I'm Canadian but I don't live in Canada.
Now, I take something from HaloHalo24: I live in California and am unable to go to any Halo parties in Canada. Taking words from GS Destroy: I'm Canadian and American citizenship. But as previously stated, I still can't go to Canada. Last person I'm using is theLittlefossie. My dad is also Canadian, I live in California. Canada kicks ass, I also go there every year. Britain is also cool, that's where my mother was born making me half-British. Sorry to say that I can't play against you guys until Halo 2 and X-Box LIVE. P.S. Germany is a cool country, but I really like Switzerland.
-
My dad is Canadian but I live in sweet California. Canada is awesome. I go there every year. Besides America Britain is my favourite country but since Canada is mainly British and my dad's side of the family all came from Canada is my third favourite. Well sorry I can't play with you Canadian chaps, until Halo 2 and Xbox Live.

but i also said our country aint that great either, the best place to be living is some where in germany or sweden or netherlands like i said,..... great health....aww screw that... i dont wanna live till im so old that every second you can feel your bones turning to dust... aww BC only, theres no multiculturalism there, come here to toronto, dont worry sars is loooooong gone.,,, more chances of falling out of the sky on the way here,.. its great here in toronto,.. you dont have to go around the world to see different people..... [Edited on 6/9/2004 8:10:31 PM]

Hmm if you were in BC I'd come up, I'm Canadian and American citizenship, live in Seattle though. Unfortinantly E. Canada is too far for me. =( )=
-
Lol there was no "country is better than yours" crap except from Nabiul. I said Canada and U.S. don't mess up their gaming with the continuous censorship. I love Canada 'cause I've been there and my girlfriend is from there too... Never had a LAN party though. But I do love the crowds over there they're nice and loud!! Despite me living on the west side of the U.S. I notice New York is a lot more quiet than Canada...maybe cause they see more insane stuff but yeah I loved British Columbia. Glad to know there are Halo fans all over.
-
Could we stop all this "my country's better than your's" crap?
-
I just managed to have a LAN party at my house recently, but I really want to organize some bigger festivities... I love the LAN though, we played a two and a half hour long 15 flag ctf... I lost, and didn't get a single flag, but my team was crap ( I got team killed each time when I had the flag).. Still managed more kills then anyone, 131.... And no, I did not play in Sidewinder.
-
I'm from Alberta. Canadian Halo Rocks! But I guess that doesnt help your plee to much does it.... Halo2=xbox live=problem solved=birds chirping and love all around [Edited on 6/7/2004 11:35:55 PM]

I'll take violence over HIV infested "-blam!-" anyday =)
-
then again countries like US are violent thats why they dont censor and they do censor some other stuff, anthing to do with some conspiracy with the government will be in the hands of the goverment in the next 48 hours, thats where sam fisher comes in.... hehe go to those countries that censor violence and enjoy the s3xual content that they seem to have no problem with ;)................
