I truly believe that TDB and House of Wolves were both originally intended to be part of the original Destiny.
That would have made 7-10 strikes with 3 raids. That is a much more reasonable amount of content. I believe they were all meant to be released as level 30 content, with all three raids providing routes to level 30.

Even vanilla WoW had more than one raid when it dropped.
-
I agree. Too bad activision screwed it up
-
Would keep every player from having essentially the same gear. Could customize look and stats more. For a grind game, u need that much content.

That does make a lot of sense. I guess we'll never know for sure. Bungie sure won't comment on it, and we can't hope for someone like Dinklage to comment, since voice actors typically know just enough to be able to do their jobs.
-
I can only imagine how much of the game was just wasted and "left on the cutting room floor." Just the voice acting alone that was thrown away. What a shame.
-
lol Peter Dinklage carries Destiny, and its some of his worst work ever
-
I bet our Ghost dies in HOW and is replaced by a new Ghost with a different voice and we finally get new Ghost shells.
-
Yeah same here, the disparity in gear makes zero sense. Having all that to do at the start would've been awesome.
-
I would have been ok with the game coming out in March if that was the way they shipped it

Edited by Optic5000: 12/19/2014 3:20:39 PMI know right? That would have been awesome.

That seems like a very reasonable idea. I wouldn't be surprised if Bungie was planning on doing just that.
