Thanks for confirming it on PS4. Saw some videos where you down Crota first without exiting the hallway (essentially move step 11 downwards up to step 5). Not sure if it works as I'm still at work, but im willing to give it a go when I get home. For the record, I've also beat it the legit way with a fantastic group of people and I do hope they patch this in time for hard mode.
