This review and everyone's complaints will fall on deaf ears... BUNGIE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR OPINION, NOR THOSE OF GAME CRITICS. People need to back off of this issue, me included, let the fan boys play their game. In the end, if you want to send a loud and clear message, don't buy any more DLC and definitely don't buy Destiny 2. Otherwise, STFU about it!

I agree nothing can be done until Destiny 2 and everyone stops buying. Though I have been using my social networks, with friends, to spread negative word of mouth advertising that targets current Destiny buys for Christmas, so others don't fall for the hype, and hindering future Destiny 2 and Bungie sales.

  • Agreed. Speak with your wallet, not your mind: it's the only thing that companies care about.

  • people are complaining because they like the game and want it to be good. otherwise they would just pack neatly and sell it on ebay and just avoid bungie products in future. I intend to cry and whine until I don't want to anymore, oh and I have not and will not buy any dlc or new bungie games until they embrace single players again.

You are absolutely right! I am one of those "Bungie fanboys" who bought the first two DLC's in advance because I trusted the Bungie name and legacy! This was before Joe Staten and Martin O'donnell was abruptly let go! Didn't get wind of that news until after I bought the game on release day, played for a couple of months and started digging for answers as to what happened! Had I kept my ear to the ground and found this out prior to the release of the game I would have never purchased it! But now it's all on me! I paid my money, getting my just desserts for geeking out way too hard and learned a valuable lesson in the process! Never again! This isn't the same Bungie!

  • Love those exclamation marks, huh? Getting a bit excited? Venting your anger? Are you like me, just wanting to shout from the rooftops? Do you really think the game would be different without Joe and Marty?

Well they were with the company for 15 plus year's. Staten was the game writer/ Creative director, O'Donnell the composer (his music is still in it, thank God). You can blatantly see that the game has been diced up in bite size DLC pieces with no actual story cohesiveness. that's where Staten comes in! His world was stripped down to nothing by Activision. I know it hurt him deeply to see that happen, so he left! He won't say it out his mouth, being legally bound not to and all, but I assure you that he wasn't happy with the outcome of the end product of this game! It's no different from having a whole family that has been together all their lives and the person that held it all together all of a sudden dies. There's going to be things the family won't be able to do when that person was there. Staten was the glue that held it all together!

  • This is turning out to be very true. Bungie clearly, destiny and the dlc is major proof, does not care about destiny and the story being anywhere near understandable or complete. Do not buy dlc is the only way to get them to listen, even if then sad.

  • Pretty much. They've gotten most our money, so why put in the effort. The only way to talk numbers is to talk numbers so to speak. When and IF D2 or a DLC after House of Wolves comes out, people need to tuck their wallets far away. Or at least wait for reviews. No more pre ordering!!!!!
