The thing is, at least to a point.. After you've beaten crotas end a few times it's just boring to do it legit over and over again. Can I do the bridge legit, sure can.. First time I was in the area I carried my fireteam through it once we figured it all out, I had the best guns for dropping gatekeeper and I was good at kiting things to stay alive. Now that I've done it 6x across teh characters, it's no big thing at all. Once it stops being challenging, it stops being fun and honestly, if I'm with a group that CAN'T do it, that' just frustrating because it's not that hard.. I'd rather cheese and get the gear, regardless of who I'm with. It's not fun to do something 45x over and it def isn't challenging at this point. Other cheeses, can be more annoying. The chalice glitch, isn't worth the time it takes to do it. If a group is doing the fight correctly and a good sniper is SOLEY shooting knights in the face (and never looking at crota) then no one has a reason to get shot essentially. You have plenty of time to "pass the drink" between sworbearers and a while waiting for Crota. When I get in groups that want to use the lock revive, I sometimes leave after a try or two to kill crota, because there is a VERY good chance it's a bad group and they don't understand the mechanics involved.
