Pure RNG. As you can see not always the bad players are rewarded... PS: Sucks, but then again why the fuk not. Bungies intention was to make the Crucible/IB more casual friendly and less try hard friendly... I welcome that tbh. Or else we would have 6 man fireteams farming crucible even more roflstomping casuals and lonewolves getting all the loot and discouraging others. That would lead to a dead Crucible.

Haha funny enough I had a similar game yest. 10.0 K/D, 40 kills and 8850 point game (second one had 4000 lol and third 2500), but this time I won 20k to 8k lol. Currently the Crucible is a farmfest of very bad players. I meet 6 to 7 low lvl players now. Oh and yes Iam ONLY playing alone and thus even despite my results I have a very low WR aswell. It is the easiest pvp game ever to boost the win rate by making a huge fireteam. Thats not my cup of tea tbh.

Well first of all it is No Land Beyond and not the UR LOL and secondly it is still an exotic drop. I surely would rather have a Hawkmoon, but I take this aswell lol. And atm shit doesnt mean that its gonna stay that way (looks at Bad Juju and Thorn after the buff) :)

  • So if you form a 6-man to raid, Bungie gives you stuff. If you form a 6-man to PvP, Bungie shrugs. ...huh.

  • YOu have to put a lot more effort into a raid to be successful. in PVP you simply have to finish the match. I think it's a fair -blam!-ing trade off.

  • The other day I went to a Chinese restaurant with a friend for lunch. After a short wait we are seated by the hostess and given a couple of menus. On the menus are 3 meal categories, lunch, dinner, and dessert. We browse the menus for a moment and choose our desired meal from the lunch category before the server comes to take our order. I order the kung pow chicken and my friend orders the moo shu pork. After about 20 minutes the server returns with our food and asks if we needed anything else at the time. I quickly look down at the plate, scan it, and look back at the waiter "Where's my dinner and dessert?" She responds "I'm sorry sir, but you didn't order dinner and dessert, those will have to be purchased separately." I respond "But it was on the menu... where's my dinner and dessert?" She responds "I'm sorry for the confusion sir, the items on the menu must be purchased individually, they do not come together." I respond "But it's on the menu!! You advertised it to me! and I'm sure you already have some made in the back, just give it to me." She responds "I'm so sorry for the confusion sir, let me go grab our customer service rep so we can see what can be done, his name is Deej, he'll be over shortly." *Deej arrives* "Hello, my name is Deej, what seems to be the problem?" I respond "Well, you advertised lunch, dinner, and dessert in your menu, but I didn't receive dinner or dessert." Deej responds "I'm looking here at the order ticket and it doesn't seem you ordered dinner and dessert, perhaps our server made a mistake?" I respond "Well I ordered the kung pow chicken lunch, but dinner and dessert is already on the menu, it's being advertised, why wasn't it given to me?" Deej responds "Uhhhmm, sir?? Those are separate menu items, you have to pay for those separately." I respond "This is bullshit!!!! I'm leaving and never coming back." My friend chimes in "What's worse? You don't even give us as much food as the Italian restaurant directly across the street!!! What a waste..." Deej responds "Italian food is generally known for their generous portion sizes, we like to focus on other things like clean and working infrastructure, and food taste and quality here, not quantity. We're very sorry to see you go, however, we'll definitely take your criticism down and work on improving our dining experience, we hope to see you return in the future." My friend and I get up and begin leaving but just as I'm heading out the door I overhear Deej turn to our server and exclaim "What a tool!" JakeballBase 3m ago Permalink@Ricochet The fallacy in your argument is 1) you were never promised anything but a working game that they hoped you like to play, and 2) the footage shown was never advertised as base game footage, it wasn't even advertised, it was development footage, and 3) just because you saw something doesn't mean it should be released when you expect it to, that's not your call. It's definitely your call to decide if you like the meal, and you're welcome to give reviews about it. But you did more than that, you started making conjectures as to why things turned out certain ways, "The food didn't taste as good as I'm used to, that's probably because they cooked it at 350 degrees instead of 375 degrees." You don't know that, the only thing you know is how the food tastes, so that's all you can comment on. Your whole argument is a little hard to fathom too, you expect me to believe they ripped out content to release as DLC, but when the DLC dropped the game completely changes? They did a complete overhaul to many of the systems and you conclude that the content was ripped out just to be pushed back in later. That just doesn't make sense from a business standpoint at all, they would never rip out finished content just to recreate it... I didn't attempt to "win the internet" I mocked the argument that just because you saw something it's now owed to you, that just because you expected something to be a certain way that it should be that way, and that just because you're not happy all the sudden you're an expert on what happened during development.

  • Uh-huh...I still stand by my point that you don't have to be a decent player to get anything in PVP but you need to be a decent player to get through a raid. Plus you can only get raid rewards once a week (if you even get anything, since it's ALSO not guaranteed to drop anything good). PVP you could luck out and get a bunch of drops in just a day if the game was so inclined. You get one shot at a raid per week. That's it. Not the case with PVP. Personally, as a crap PVP player, I'm glad they don't only reward the good players with the good stuff. Not to say PVP should get shafted, there should be a bit more of a reward for playing it than there is now, but as it stands you don't need to be successful there to be rewarded whereas you need to be successful in PVE to be rewarded.

  • Bungie doesnt gives you stuff in raid "for free". It is also dependant on RNG.

  • Didn't say for free. Raid at least guarantees shards or...something. PvP, you might get nothing. Lots of nothing. It needs a certainty of loot drop.

  • Thats for sure mate. I fully agree that atleast something should be rewarded according to the performance, but definitely not exotic or legendary loot.
