Just toss that old peashooter away. Either buy The devil you don't or upgrade to an exotic Handcannon. Also when Crota hard is being rolled out keep your eyes focused on Word of Crota.
Devil was never that good anyway. Fatebringer was the best pick in terms of Legendary.

Devil You Don't is awful. 5 shots in the mag and it doesn't have Feild Scout perk (at least not the one from the Vanguard vendor). Everything else about it is average or worse that The Devil You Know. Devil You Know is still better at 300 dmg.

My Thorn is really a lot better than that. And not even hard to obtain. What you use Devil you know for? I bet both PVE and PVP Thorn will be the superior choice. If you go for PVE alternatives might I suggest using Vision of Confluence? Not a handcannon but very powerful.

I like the Devil You Know for head shot bounties as its stability, range, and accuracy are excellent. It is a very surgical weapon. I love my Fatebringer but it is too effective sometimes and isn't quite as accurate.

True, but most times I'd rather have Ghorn or Icebreaker equipped. I like my Devil You Know and Timur's Lash. Just not very viable in Crota's End.

Yeah i know. First part i use thorn cuz of the piercing. After that i swap to vision with icebreaker
