Nope. Read the Crota's End card, Eriana's account strongly suggests Eris is a warlock, in the Praxic order with her if I had to guess. They were working together but hit an impasse, so they needed to find ancient Hive knowledge or something. Which is how they found Toland.

Nope. She is officially a Hunter now.
-
no she is definitely a hunter "Omar: He’s mad. Toland: Perhaps. Eris: Why do you hold these secrets like weapons, to damn us all? Toland: Because they are weapons. And we are going to use them to show the Hive they are not the only ones who breed fear. Eris: How? Toland: You’re hunters—hunt. Find the Eyes that are upon us. "

Explain her wearing the lucky raspberry and mask of the third man then?
-
She's not wearing a helm; the only "mask" she's wearing is that cloth over her eyes. And her chest plate isn't the Lucky Raspberry; the only similarity between them are the round knobs on both pieces. Eriana-3 was also a member of the Future War Cult, which Eris could also have been a member of. They have a Golden Age device that allows one to essentially see the future, which cost many humans their sanity. They talk about making adjustments to it. Perhaps they needed something from the Hive for the device.

Edited by Trestero: 12/17/2014 10:28:06 PMI asked you to read the card, sir. "In our world Crota seemed invincible. Together Eris Morn and I worked the problem, but found no hope. So we sought forbidden knowledge - the exiled master of Hive Arcana." They were investigating the problem of Crota's invincibility in OUR world, and their investigation was on Hive arcana. That's a Warlock-y thing, especially considering how Crota's dimension is the place he can be killed.

She's a warlock.

Very interesting! But they were investigating as a team, doesn't necessarily mean Eris has to be a Warlock. Hunters are scouts and information gatherers, where as Warlocks are the ones who study the information and make it actionable. A Hunter and Warlock duo sounds like the perfect ones for the job!
