I played against that guy. I will admit, he was pretty good, but I could see the strategy he was using. He wasnt anyhing in particular special. It was clearly exploiting the Thorn buffs and the DOT. If he had any other weapon in the game, he wouldnt be capable of doing the same. And theres the fact that its OP. Pistols should honestly be used as CQB weapons, not snipers. Scout rifles are most similar like DMRs and Scout Rifles like ARs. I dont see how anybody thought it was a good idea to make pistols so accurate from cross maps and giving them so much damage over that distance.

I see your point but I doubt he would be able to wreck me like that with thorn. I tend to rush thorn players since the only have 9 bullets and have to reload constantly. Again I agree that the DoT tick length, damage, and frequency need adjustments, but I also think this guy was just WAY better than you and obviously everyone in the room. No offense but your Crucible stats aren't really that impressive.

You couldn't rush this guy based on his style. He didnt rush at all and was keeping a lot of distance and stayed behind cover. He would use DOT to troll us whenever anybody wanted to do anything. It's my style of gaming. I rush in and depending on the game mode. I change my style. I use myself as a distraction if I need to. Thats why my Skirmish is so much higher. Because I play more defensively.
