I see your point. One time I saw my teammate use a nova bomb but didn't realize the other team used a nova bomb right before it in the same area. I ran through the energy field and took damage from the enemy's nova bomb. Frustrating, but I still think it's fair. I think it's fine because the enemy has to deal with it too. I probably get more kills from grenades because of that dynamic, but it's hard to tell.
