What? Those games arent anything close to being comparable to this game???
-
That's because Diablo had content, and if you found a high powered unique, it stayed that way. Not turned into garbage when the expansion hit.
-
Did you PLAY D3? The loot system was redone so many times with the intention of making all current gear worthless. Things normalized after Loot 2.0, which hit right before the expansion but there was a solid 2 year span where you could expect all your gear to go to shit every 3-4 months.
-
Right, and they fixed that. Because it didn't work. Right? Exactly.
-
It took like 2 years tho.
-
Thing bout borderlands is YOU ACTUALLY GET GOOD REWARDS FOR THE HOURS UPON HOURS YOUVE PLAYED!
-
Then don't play brah
-
Ppl are complaining hopping to make the game better. If they don't play and give feed back nothing will change idiot
-
They have this stuff called game content, destiny doesn't.
-
Then don't play brah
-
Already payed for it bruh.
-
Same here and I don't play brah
-
You just comment on the boards right bruh. Loser or troll, which is it?

Its both, im certain.

Ok first off, you don't have to grind to lvl up gear in borderlands or Diablo 3. You have to grind to get better gear sure but once you get it it's full lvl. Same in wow when you get new armor or weapons (unless you make the weapon then sure you have to grind for the materials). This game once you get a piece of armor (however you do it) then you have to grind the same five strikes to get the xp to lvl it up and same with the weapons. This is what makes the game boring after a while. Diablo, wow and borderlands all had 1000 times the content this game does. Think about it.
-
U don't have too grind the same 5 strikes to level up...no wonder ur hating it..that's the slower way to do it....play PvP..play the raid...nightfall...New story missions...daily heroics...the various bounties...I haven't done a tiger strike in so long I can't even remember
-
Grinding is grinding
-
True. I'm not saying it's not. I'm just saying that I see both sides of the field here. I've played many hours of WOW and Diablo and borderlands (1 and 2) so I know grinding but I also understand the frustration people feel with this "DLC". Grinding the same five missions for xp gets old. So like I said, I see both sides of the table with the great debate of this DLC.
-
Levels weren't tied to armor either
-
I think the biggest difference is you have to upgrade gear to gain your levels. Those other games you gain levels with normal xp gain. It's not the normal way to advance your character therefore it has a bigger impact on the player when new gear comes out. They have literally made your gear the focus on character development. There will always be new gear to work for with every expansion/add on. I personally welcome new better gear that I can attain since it's something new to strive for. I don't think the majority of the players like how the leveling system is. If they did away with leveling gear to gain adventure levels I don't think you would see threads like this one. Just my opinion.
-
Agreed this whole leveling system is stupid too me just another way for them to control our progress which was a big reason why I stopped playing halo reach
-
I've mentioned this before in posts but it doesn't seem to get a lot of attention, not sure why. It is a huge part of some of the discontent that players are feeling. Not all of it but I think everyone could agree it's a major factor on responses and feed back. Any change in gear directly affects the adventure.
-
Borderlands. Diablo. WOW. Never complained in these games.
Because they had content to play.
-
Another difference is that in borderlands legendaries can carry you through a few levels. I had a nukem and it did me good for about 10-15 levels. Exotics the destiny equivalent to legendaries are pretty useless pre DLC. Only a select few are really worth a damn pre DLC.
