The story kind of contradicts the raid, though...

In the story, you prevent Crota from re-awakening and destroy his soul, but in the raid he's alive and okay...but more than that, he's awake!
...and kind of a pain in the a$$ LoL

In the raid you travel to the hive spirit/netherworld to kill crota's soul /spiritual form for good. That's why in the raid parts of crota's body are nothing but energy.

See that's all CG/ information that needed to occur in the raid. I didn't know that. Where did you hear/ see that? That would have been awesome to include in the game.

What's more interesting is if you read the new grimouier card for crota. It sounds as if there is a link between the vex and their time gates and the hive and their ability to go to another dimension/realm. Interesting stuff. There's also a card for the raid now to. I think you only get the crota card from killing crota. What's also interesting is there is 5 extra card spots after crota for more exalted hive. I hope we get to fight oryx sometime.

As fun as the theme of the dLC is, it feels very "piecemealed" together. KInd of like they went into their Crota cupboard and said, "okay we'll put this with that, and that over there...okay, I think we've made something out of all these different things! Whata ya say? About 20 bucks a pop?"
