One thing trading would sort out is that retarded 'earned' debate.

Everything is handed to you by dumb luck , you can be lvl 30 and own bunch of exotics after one raid or you could be grinding the raid till next one comes out and still missing gear pieces ... You can own a rare exotic cus you played 500hours and the next day xurs makes that rare item more then common ...

You still earned it. Some band grind out songs for years and are never heard. Others do one song and make millions. Lucky? Sure. Luck is life, they still worked for the opportunity and earned it. Now let's look at a kid born into riches. HE gets handed everything and more his whole life, because his parents who earned it just give it him. This child whilst also lucky, defiantly did not earn any of the nice things he has. This is a simple logic that works perfectly with the game. To recap in game terms: If I find a team and complete the raid and get every raid gear item at once, I earned that by putting myself in the situation, doing the work required to make it possible and being lucky enough for it to happen. If I ask on a forum if anyone has a full spare raid set, I might also get lucky and get given all I need just like that. I don't see how anyone could use the word 'earn' to describe that! Now please. Please! Can we put this stupid argument to rest?

Lol man you really go deep into that haha , got your point . But i dont see people giving theyr earned or lucky gear for free in an auction house ... Theres always someone who has to much of something and others desperate in need , things like legendary ships sparrows and much wanted exotics should not be erased ! You played for them afterall ,and by your vision you applied yoursef to earn them ! So is it correct to change them in shards to stack them whit the few100 you already have ? This is what makes me play other games alot instead of being earning .

So what if I used said "earned" weapon and traded it for let's say a raid helm wouldn't I have "earned" that gear for trading an "earned" mythoclast???? It's silly there's no such thing as "earning" in this game oddly enough the only thing that is earned is stuff bought from Xur since you had to buy with coins that were earned through weeklys and such.

i dont like xur a bit , he messes with the meaning of your gear ... how is something exotic when evryone can grind coins and buy it ... if im correct the gear starts at common to uncommon to rare to legedary to exotic !!! exotic being the rarest gear ... xur makes it more the common. not talking bout earning here just rarity !!!

Yep could be but imagine being able to action that 4th vex mytho or the 10th ship you got from the raid and whit the glimmer /marks or whatever you got for it youll be able to upgrade , buy materials other weapons or even the overprized heavy ammo you need for the raid . I know one thing for sure , i wouldnt mind to redo the vog 100 times again cus it would have something to "earn"
