Well a gatekeeper is usually around when we teleport somewhere. My theory is in hard mode this gatekeeper will become active and during the crota fight portals will open and there will be a whole new part of the raid making crota an actual hard fight. It will be something similar to the portals during the atheon fight. My thought is 3 people will enter the gate(randomly teleported), they will fight a enemy who is holding a sword, they grab the sword, it'll be a mini boss fight. They will go through this area and out of the portal. With that sword whoever is holding it uses it on crota. This will prevent the disconnect crota glitch.

I think they'll drop down during hard raid, so the guy with the swordll have less time on crota by having to take these guys out too
